Raising the Adorable Villain but why did it turn out this way?

I don't have a name, I don't have a purpose, I don't know why I exist.


My earliest memories was that of my mother dying. In her dying moment, she looked at me with warm eyes, as she disappeared.


The day after my mother died, I met my master, he was just a child. 


"Hello little fella! Are you all alone as well? I see that you and those caterpillars are different, you are just like me. We are both different and unique."said Xiao Zhan while giving a sad smile


I didn't know why but his tone of speaking and the helpless smile that he gave me. It made my heartache and I couldn't help but feel like I could resonate with him.
