PRETENDING TO BE DRUNK

Kaye saw a waitress who was walking towards them with buckets of cold beers. Since Kaye didn't want to get drunk like last time when she ended on Ivan's bed, so she only took one bottle till the end.

Ivan and Gab were talking about some stuffs like business and technology so they drank a lot. Lexi looked at her fiancee with a 'worried' gaze upon seeing the empty bottles of beer.

Kaye was also worried as to how she could get Ivan back to their room. Seeing his flushed face, Kaye decided to interrupt their little chat.

"Ivan, let's go back?" Kaye tapped his shoulder lightly to get his attention.

"Hmm." Ivan held her hand and rubbed it on his face. They warmth of his face from drinking seeped into her cold palms.

"Don't get cold." Kaye reminded him, getting the beer from him to place it back on the table.

"I haven't paid yet." Ivan whispered right beside her ear. She stilled for a moment before scratching her ear from the itch.

"Let's pay it on our way out." Kaye suggested. "Do you have strength to walk?" she asked with a helpless face.

"Can I lean on you for a bit?" Ivan asked, his expectant gaze was digging into her heart.

"Alright. Put your arms around my shoulder. Let's walk slowly, okay?" Kaye slung his arms on her own shoulder, her hand was wrapped around his waist as they walked towards the exit so they can pay and go home.

Lexi and Gab walked ahead of them since Gab was 'very drunk' compared to Ivan.

When they reached the hotel, the three women, who excused themselves to have eaten already, stood up upon seeing the couple.

"How was it?" Kath asked excitedly like she was watching a movie coming up to its climax.

Grace and Yvonne was expecting something from them as well, looking anxious since they were taking so long to come back.

"It's up to Ivan now." Lexi answered with knowing smile. "He's drunk."

"Hm? When did my brother get drunk? This is the first." Kathleen asked in wonder since this wasn't what they planned at all. She knew his brother wasn't someone who would get drunk easily.

"I don't know what happened, I guess he was pretending. Let's just hope that something good would come out of this." Gab commented before they all head back to their room.

Kaye and Ivan was walking slowly back to the hotel. At first Ivan was staggering as he walked but when he realized that Kaye was exhausted, he tried walking collectively.

"You should not drink so much. How come you got drunk this time? It wasn't the same like last time." Kaye muttered under her breath, remembering the last time they had a drink with Alex and Jestoni.

"Don't leave me." Ivan whispered to her. Thinking that he was just murmuring some nonsense, Kaye just responded with an 'Hn' sound.

With so much difficulty, Kaye was able to drag Ivan back to the hotel. A hotel boy wanted to help her but Ivan glared at him. Seeing the warning look, the staff took a step back.

"It's okay. I can handle him." Kaye said when he saw Ivan glaring at him. "He's kinda special." she added.

When they reached their room, Kaye let go of her hands and Ivan fell on the bed. "You're so heavy." Kaye complained at him while panting heavily.

She was standing near the bed trying to get some air and relax her breathing. Ivan was looking at her with a smile so she smiled back.

However, the next thing Kaye saw was the room moving around and she was lying on the bed with Ivan on top of her. Her wrists were held by his hands, not so tight but the strength was enough to lock her below him.

"Ivan, what are you doing?" Kaye's voice was so small that Ivan didn't almost hear her. It was more like a squeak from her mouth.

"I like you. I like you for a long time." Ivan said with a a burning gaze that could drill hole into her heart.

Kaye's breathing hitched. She was still trying to process his words when he felt that his face was getting magnified in front of her until a cold lips enveloped her.

Her eyes were wide from shock. It was slow and deliberate at first and then his tongue was snaking his way through her mouth.

Kaye tried to resist but her hands were pinned on the bed. "Iva-..." she wasn't able to finish her word when Ivan's tongue slipped and started exploring her mouth.

A low moan escape from her mouth and Ivan smiled cheekily after hearing it. He swept through her palates, his tongue intertwining with hers like a snake curling its body on its prey.

Kaye was running out of breath. Ivan realized it too so he let go of her mouth, leaning his forehead on hers, their nose touching with each other.

Kaye was heaving for air but her eyes never left Ivan's face. "Don't go with him." Ivan said which pulled Kaye into the harsh reality.

'Shit! He thought I was the girl he likes. He mistook me for someone else.' Kaye scolded herself mentally but her face didn't show anything.

"Sleep." Kaye wriggled from his hold, exerting all her strength just to get out from him.

Ivan couldn't understand the sudden change from her but he could feel the coldness and hate from her word.

He let go of her arms and sat on the bed, looking at Kaye who took a towel and went inside the bathroom.

Once the bathroom door was locked, Kaye sat on the floor, hugging her knees as she cried her heart out.

"I can't believe I let him made a fool out of me." Kaye mumbled with so much heartache.

After spending almost half an hour in the bath, Kaye got out like nothing happened. She arranged her side of the bed before lying down to get some sleep. "Good night."
