MR. ROMANTIC AND I

"Zahra your phone is ringing " ruky yelled while I was brushing.


"Who is it " I asked. Firdaus is the name she yelled back.


I quickly rinsed my mouth and picked the call


Zahra!am coming to Nigeria next month! She screamed through the phone. I jumped and kissed the phone as if she is seeing me. I am happy because by then I will be at home. They are coming to celebrate my fathers new appointment.


Finally, I left after my exams. Firdaus and dadi are arriving today,so we have preparing dishes with mom.


"Zahra I don't want to keep ma(dadi) waiting,you rather wait for their arrival, so get ready the driver is waiting for you outside" my ma(mom) instructed. I quickly washed my hand and left for the airport.


I was seated and deeply into my phone when some one pulled my veil I turned to see sultan standing at the same time killing me with his eyes and smiles.


I briskly got up and the clumsy me surfaced because I almost but thank God he got hold of me.


I pulled away from him to hug  Firdaus that was approaching us.


I hugged her and went to give dadi a blood spilling hug. I never knew sultan was coming too.


Dadi is selective,she can't eat our local food(Nigerian dish),so ma made a list of what to buy to suit dadi's taste and I have to get it. 


Sultan wanted to accompany me which I refused and he insisted. I wanted Firdaus to come along but she is massaging dadi's legs and I know dadi will not let her off the hook.


We sat at the back seat and the driver drove us. I closed my eyes and felt sultan blowing my face. I opened my eyes and saw him very close to me. I quickly used my palm to close my face.


I was confused as I almost open the door until he quickly grabbed it back and close it. I hate me.


We went to NEXT to get the groceries. Do you know the feeling of meeting someone while you are with someone better than him in all ramifications?well I experienced that because sultan ran into layman at the entrance.


Sultan apologized and layman said no problem but to my greatest dismay layman's mood totally changed and I got scared that I don't even know when I held sultan's hand,he looked at me and I smiled at him. so he grabbed my hand very well as if someone will snatch me away from him.


Layman gritted hi teeth,bite his lower lip and angrily left. Sultan gave me a questionable look and I snatched my hand away immediately layman left.


We finished buying our items and came out heading to our car when sultan help me cover my hair that was out of my veil because I always use one,either tie it or roll it.


Before we realized someone started honking attracting our attention.


We turned and saw layman. He was angry to the extent that he almost hit us with his car.


I smiled at myself being the reason he was upset and I will pay just to see him that way.we shifted and he zoom off. We entered our car and left as well.
