Claude's POV

I could only beat myself up when I thought about our past life. Now, our relationship is as cold as an iceberg. Mio was sitting quietly beside me, but she kept silent and didn't talk at all with me.

"Mio, how are you today?" I asked Mio with a soft voice, and I thought that would make her answer my question, but she glared at me instead with a disgusting face.

I already asked her out, but she refused me without hesitation. In the past, she wanted to go anywhere with me, and she was even happy when I let her sit down in my car, but now, she looked like she wanted to run away from me.

I gulped down nervously, and I closed my open mouth and focused on driving. Why did she suddenly ask something like that? Were there some suspicious people spying us from behind? Hmm, it was impossible because I have spread my guards everywhere to protect Mio and me, so there can't be bad guys around us.

My bodyguard has a high specification, and all of them graduated from military school. All of my bodyguards have high skill in a martial art, and all of them are good in stealthy.

They can hide their presence skillfully, and they also can be a spy to locate my enemy. I shook my head helplessly and thought maybe Mio was hallucinating.

I continued to escort Mio, and Mio didn't even talk about that incident again. Mio and I took a picture for their marriage book, and I grinned like a fool while Mio only looked at me with cold eyes.

I didn't care about Mio's expression because I also understood why she did that. I also know that my attitude in the past will never vanish even though I do a good job.
