One day, Michael discovers a fae in his palace's garden. He captures her and demands his wish be granted, just like all the fae stories taught him to do.



One day, Lala ventures too far into the Forbidden Meadow. A boy grabs her and won't let her go, claiming he must have his wish. But Lala isn't a fae.



So begins an unlikely and highly dangerous relationship, rooted in a lie.
