Xia Biming grabbed her light sports jacket and put it on to hide her assets. "Zhao Liling, you better keep your man on a tight leash. Like a dog, he can't stop starting at what's not his. He's even drooling a little."

When he registered what Biming said, he snapped back to reality. "Biming, watch what you say. You act all high and mighty but look at you practically naked in a park." Liling snickered after hearing Tianhao.

"How am I naked? I have clothes on. Just because you haven't seen me naked doesn't mean you can say whatever you want about me. Stay in your lane or I won't back down." Xia Biming was confident that she could destroy them no matter.

"Oh, Zhao Liling. I haven't had the chance to congratulate your pregnancy yet. I hope the two of you live happily together. Good thing you have a younger sister, she can help you after the baby comes." She then eyed Yu Tianhao.

Yu Tianhao was dressed lightly, and the weather wasn't too hot, but he started sweating at the mention of Zhao Lingyu. Especially since Xia Biming had caught them in bed together. He knew the meaning behind her words and could help but quake in fear.

"Thanks. I'm already two and a half months pregnant but I'm barely showing. Tianhao has been taking such good care of me. He always puts me first. We're both really sorry that you learned of our relationship this way. I hope you don't take it to heart." Zhao Liling really didn't have in pride. She just boasted about stealing and sleeping with another woman's man.

Xia Biming quickly thought about the timeline. 'Huh. These flies hooked up when I was working in City H. No wonder he didn't answer all those calls. He just lied to me and said he was busy with meetings and I believed him so easily. Such a fool.'

Tianhao interrupted her thoughts, "Ming, I really am sorry. I know you wanted to marry me, but things change. I hope you don't hate me too much. But my mom told me how she wants you to meet up with Jing Sheng. Don't look at him in a bad light because of me."

Truth was that this really irked Tianhao. He hadn't gotten over Xia Biming. Or at least the lust for her. He thought that if his brother married her, then maybe she would come over more and he would get the chance to finally have a taste of her.

"You're really disgusting, you know that? I wouldn't wish to ever be engaged in anything with you or your family ever again. My mom only invited them to the party last night to show them that I deserve better than trash like you." Biming was done.

She couldn't stand the sight of these pigs anymore. She motioned for Ning Xue to also pack up. They were already done so they quickly packed up and left the two pests alone in the park.

"Biming, I can't believe you were ever with that guy. He's awful." Ning Xue couldn't help but comment.

"I know. He truly disgusts me. I thought we were in a park not a pigsty. How unlucky for us to meet them here today." Biming angrily retorted. She hated both of them so much. And for them to say such words for them only angered her more.

She bid Ning Xue goodbye and promised her dinner later for ruining their beautiful afternoon together. They drove their separate ways home.

That night Xia Biming made herself a light dinner since she ate so much yesterday and she had an early morning the next day. She stir fried some green beans in light soy sauce and garlic as her side. She also braised some chicken in sweet soy sauce with tofu and chilies. She made enough for tonight's meal and also for lunch the following day. She enjoyed the dinner with a bowl of rice.

She then made her way to take her bath to clean herself of the day's grime. This reminded her of the unhappy meeting in the park. Her thoughts got carried away and those feelings she tried to get rid of came back. She found herself crying over that jerk again.

She just couldn't believe that that was the reason why he cheated. Just because she didn't want to have sex. Now that she thought about it, that's why he always asked her to do other favors for him. Like using her hands or mouth. She thought using her mouth was repulsive, so she only gave in once to help him with her hands.

Her tears were a mix of heartbreak, anger, and disgust. Disgust for herself for having fallen for such dirty tricks. She scrubbed her hands so hard to feel clean that they almost turned raw. She sat in the tub and slowly stopped sobbing.

'How could I have fallen for such a cheap man? He wasn't like that back in school. In school, he always took care of me.' Thinking back on their school days, Tianhao always bought her snacks and sweets. He was so attentive to her then.

'What changed? Was my love for him not strong enough? Whatever. He's awful. I don't want anything to do with that group of people anymore.'

After learning and connecting all the clues and events leading to her heartbreak, she no longer felt the need to cry over it anymore. She was happy by herself. And she learned from this. She's never going to fall for another man's tricks again.

She finished her bath, dried her hair, and applied her creams before going to her study. She organized some paperwork to take to the office the following morning.

Her eyes landed on the sketchbook she got for her birthday. She didn't know how to feel about the man that gifted her this. On the outside, he was really charming, and she couldn't help but fall for him every time they met now. But she knew it couldn't be that simple.

Confused about Chang, she decided to only think of him as a friend. Her brother was friends with him too, why couldn't she be friends with him?
