The night was quite peaceful. Although there was the occasional twerp of the night birds and the creeps of the small bugs, it was just so quiet. It was a godsend after all that had happened. The night continued on with not much action, and as the moon became its brightest, the many stars came out shining brightly. It was as if the sky was telling a message from god, to be hopeful and to stay calm, and to give you a good night's sleep.
[Third Person] There on the outskirts of the newly taken over kingdom, laid 2 young women. Inside resting upon a house they came across. In such desperate times, I wish them the best of luck and hope that they make a successful recovery of the kingdom. I kind of pity them though, they both had been through a lot. But as they say love can solve anything right? So maybe I'll wave a little magic over the two and see where it takes them. Good night!
Chirp! Chirp! It was the morning and with it the bright sun's rays shining through the two slowly woke up. Outside was full of life and exemplified a new day.
Caroline opened her eyes and yawned. Blinking rapidly she thought, 'Ahhh so refreshing.' Then looking beside her she saw a cute figure resting right next to her cuddled around her arm and legs. 'Definitely the best way to wake up.' she thought.
Freeing herself from Jaene she resolved herself to make breakfast ready by the time Jaene woke up to really give her a fresh homey feel. 'I hope the death of her parents still won't trouble her much. But, don't worry Jaene's mother and father! I'll definitely take care of your daughter' she thought although with a smirk.
Walking around the house looking for the fridge, and eventually giving up in frustration, "Argh!! Where is the god damn fridge?! Oh wait, that's right, they don't exist here. Ah I know! The storage house outside might have something!" Walking outside, Caroline went into the storage house closest to her and found that stored were some cabbage, bread, oat, and wheat. Ah I guess I'll take the bread and some cabbage. Maybe I can make a sandwich? I might as well make some porridge since I have wheat and oat here.
Back within the house, Caroline took out a ceramic pot and put in all the ingredients. In the same space, she also found some salt and pepper. 'Score!' she thought. This should be tasty. Taking out two mugs, she filled them with water and set them on the dining table, along with two servings of porridge and sandwiches.
Then slowly walking out of the bedroom while rubbing her eyes, Jaene thought, 'Wow. What delicious smell. I wonder what it is?' Then finally seeing the culprit of the smell, her mouth watered and her heart fluttered at the same time. She thought, 'Wow! Caroline is such a great person. She's so amazing! Why is my heart beating so fast all of a sudden?' With her face turning a small shade of red she neared the table and sat down.
Finishing breakfast, Caroline said, "Hey Jaene, taking a seat. I'll join you soon after cleaning up." "Ok!", said Jaene. Taking a seat she said towards Caroline, "Hey Caroline, I haven't had a chance to thank you since… the incident. (Jaene tearing up) Thank you for all the help you have given me! How can I ever repay you?" Caroline then walked over and sat down next to her and said, "Hey it's ok! Let's stick together ok? We'll get through this together." Cuddling close while comforting each other and while their faces were a few inches apart, Jaene took a look at Caroline's eyes, but then her gaze slowly shifted downwards towards her lips.
A few hours later on the road, the pair shyly embarrassed, were walking on the road set on taking revenge upon the Rols Kingdom. And off they went.
