One Shot and Jenny were waiting for the announcement inside to step through those doors and make the grand entrance. A movement caught One Shot's eye. A quick glance, and his mouth dropped slightly open. He tilted his head. For a moment, he thought he saw Jack disappearing behind a corner. Must be the same person as before, a lookalike. But somewhere deep down him, alarm bells rang loud and clear. The person before…he had been a waiter. The current person was in casual clothes. Maybe he was getting off work, he tried calming his nerves. Why was he always in stand-by mode? If this continued, he would end up like Spencer, always carrying around the burden of work with him. No private life in sight. Though…did he even have a private life to speak of? So far, his life revolved around his work. He only had one sister, yet he had for the most part neglected her life.

"Alex?" that supposedly precious person now asked and called his attention back to her. He glanced down at his sister. She was so small, fragile, and pretty. Beautiful today, even. Innocent and kind. She was a better person than he could ever hope to be. Even though she was a crybaby. He smiled and pinched her nose.

"No worries, today is your day. Are you ready?"

She looked up in played annoyance. She was easy to read like an open book. The way her nose twitched and she put on a pouty expression but blushed in giddiness.

"I was just checking if you're ready."

"I am."

"…what if I make a mistake and trip?"

"Don't worry. I'll catch the bouquet before it hits the ground." He grinned, but corrected himself after a weak punch to the stomach, "just kidding. You'll be my priority. And I'll be damned to let anything happen to you…." He paused for a moment in silent thought. "If someone ever dares to hurt you-"

"You'll show up like a knight in shining armor?"

"No, your knight is someone else. But I will still come to rescue you if ever you are in need."

"Oh please, you're making me embarrassed...Since it appears we have a minute, can I ask you something?"

"Anything."

"Are you serious about Angy? I don't want her hurt."

"I don't think I could hurt her, even if I wanted to," One Shot avoided the question by recalling the fight from before.

"I'm asking you earnestly here. Do you love her?"

He stared into the face of his sister. She was serious. And this wasn't a moment to lie. She deserved the truth. It came out easier than expected, and yet the words surprised even him. "I do."

Her face lit up with excitement. "Really?! Wow! My brother is in love!"

The doors opened, and One Shot leaned in to say, "Your turn to say those words."

From inside the hall, the music began to play and the final announcement was carried through the door loud and clear, "Please welcome, our lovely bride!"

His sister beamed up as the light from the hall fell upon the two siblings and together, they made their grand entrance.
