One Shot wrapped his hand around her and pulled her into his embrace. Angel followed his lead and didn't miss a beat to the music that was still engulfing the new pair. She placed her hand in his; the other on his shoulder, and smiled up at him.

"What did you do that for?" It wasn't a complaint.

"I thought you would be uncomfortable," One Shot excused his behavior. Though, he knew that was only a small part of why he wanted to separate the two. Seeing her in Joffrey's arms was too unnerving. He could guess why, but admitting the true motive was beyond him. At least for now.

"Oh, do you know me that well already?" She smiled. It was a beautiful smile. But…it was the same polite smile she had bestowed upon Joffrey earlier. He replied with just the same, but somehow the act left a bitter aftertaste in his mouth. Somewhere in his gut, he felt irritation rising, but quickly suppressed it and instead let her question run through his mind. She raised both eyebrows when she noticed the hesitation in him. The music continued to revolve around them, but it took another turn until he finally opened up.

"I've heard a lot about you from Jenny. You're one of her favorite topics, you see," he contemplated in a soft, careful tone. It was best to tread lightly, but oh so difficult. "I've heard about your hobbies, the kind of drinks you like, and the study habits you have. I've heard so much that you don't feel like a stranger to me. If I wanted to, I could probably start my own blog about you based on hear-say."

"Oh no…then I guess I can't surprise you anymore. What a shame that you already know me so well."

"Well…I've heard a lot. Yet," he lowered his voice and looked her straight into her eyes, "I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. What I want right now more than anything is to get to know you better."

"How unfair," she mumbled, "you already know so much and want to know more about me, yet I barely know anything about you."

"Well, I'm open to any questions you may have." He smiled.

"Well then, let's start easy. What do you do for work?"

One Shot flinched. Well now, he had just shot himself in the leg, didn't he? If he did speak the truth, he could be prosecuted. Revealing the identity of a secret agent was never a good idea, especially one's own.
