Ch 51: War... War never changes.

"I can't contact them." Ironwood says in panic.

"I guess I will have to take care of it." Kyra says

"Before that is settled I believe it's time I told you a story." Kyra begins

"What story?" Ironwood asks wary that the girl is going to betray them.

"One that maybe only Ozpin will understand. It is about war. War, war never changes, since the dawn of humankind when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and dust. Blood has been spilled in the name of everything from god to justice to simple psychotic rage. Let me tell you humans became so adept at killing the managed to destroy the world and nearly wipe themselves out of existence. The god of darkness disappointed in man kind who he considered his children took away his gift to them, Magic. The god of light decided that one day man would be reborn. The world declared a failure and abandoned by the gods. For as long as the world exists the one seeking to destroy it shall live. Humanity and Faunus in a constant war for survival. Yet humanity is making the same mistakes they did millennia ago. This is the world of Remnant the remains of what the world once was. Gifts a semblance of the power we used to have." Kyra says

'Had to bullshit off the fallout path a bit sadly.' Kyra thinks to herself wishing she could just steal a full fallout speech.

"What are you talking about?" Ironwood asks

"We are at war." Kyra says

"Yes?" Ozpin asks not knowing what's going on.

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear 100 battles. Today is just another battle." Kyra says

"Okay! What's going on stop being cryptic!" Ironwood shouts having to deal enough with Ozpin.

Penny suddenly shuts down from the magnetic powers.

"3... 2... 1..." Kyra says as suddenly all communication devices in the room besides Kyra's start broad casting a message.

"Jarvis! Ready the battleships to defend the coast!" Kyra shouts

"Yes ma'am." The British voice says

"What is that?" Ironwood asks

"General you should know as a military leader. When it comes to war information is 80% of the battle." Kyra says before leaving the room.

"This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust. Your safety. Your children. To men who claim to be our guardians. But are in reality nothing more than men. Our academies' headmasters hold mor-" Cinder says but suddenly cuts off.

"Hello, Cinder. I must say it's been a very fun game of cat and mouse. Leading a massive army of Grimm to Vale, leading Ozpin around by the nose, Taking over the white fang, hacking into Atlas with the help of Arthur Watts, and oh yes of course trying to steal the rest of the fall maidens powers for yourself. It's a shame really it really is. good luck Cinder, Master thief Emerald, and still unconscious Mercury. She's going to be really disappointed when you fail Cinder. I was prepared, you never had a chance." Kyra says hijacking the hijacker taunting her before hanging up.

Suddenly warning sirens start to go off.

"Warning incoming Grimm attack threat level 10. Please seek immediate shelter." A robotic woman's voice says.

Suddenly in the distance back down in Vale the sound of hundreds of thousands of turrets can be heard beeping to life, echoing all through the kingdom. Followed by machine gun laser and rocket fire. The Sky is lit up by bullets and lasers tearing through the flying Grimm and Rockets decimating the grimm on the ground. Anti air cannon and guns on Beacon are opening fire into the swarm of Grimm in the air. Ship Cannons can be heard booming in the distance.

Cinder is watching the Sky light up and parts of the city light up with explosions. Looking towards the ocean she sees a leviathan being dealt with by Boats she has never seen before.

"The hell! Emerald we need to go now!" Cinder says panicking a little the plan is failing.

Making a run for the elevator to the Sub basement.

In other parts of the city Atlas robots begin attacking citizens.

"Jarvis, let's take down those Atlas ships. Make sure it looks like Cinder did it by hacking them shut down the robots too." Kyra says wanting Atlas to take damage from this as well.

'Ironwood is not able to hold the responsibility of what he does and keep his mind in the future it's safer to give him a set back.' Kyra thinking's knowing she needs to cripple Atlesian army if she wants to get away.

"Give Ruby a call." Kyra says

Ruby is currently cutting off the head of a nevermore while Yang just turned another one to paste.

"Hi! Kyra!" Ruby says answering the scroll

"Yeah things definitely got exciting. They seem to be targeting the Amity Colosseum." Ruby says

"Oh... you already got the ones on the ground?" Ruby asks a little disappointed.

"Getting them? There might be some left?" Ruby asks prepared to use her semblance to get to the ground.

"What do you mean we need to leave... yeah we heard your ooh." Ruby says

"Blake and Yang? What about Weiss?" Ruby asks dodging talons and removing another head.

"Weiss! Kyra says your dads coming to get you!" Ruby shouts beheading 2 nevermores

"Blake! Your making the escape with us! She also said to grab Penny's body!" Ruby shouts wondering if her genius sister and girlfriend could save Penny.

"You're just leaving me!?" Weiss asks

Suddenly the roar of a dragon is heard in the distance.

"Kyra says she has to go fight a dragon!" Ruby shouts shooting a few nevermores down from the air.

Massive explosions can be heard as atlas ships are abandoned by their crew and crash into the ground just outside the city exploding.

"Yang when we are done we are to take Blake and Penny then use speed boat to get to patch Kyra will be picking us up!" Ruby shouts.

"You're not leaving me!" Weiss shouts

"Fine!" Ruby yells across the battlefield.
