Chapter 19

"So how exactly do these help us?" Lizzy asks.

"I'm not sure. But when the feathers came into contact with certain materials they began to change. I think if we make weapons with the feathers they'll be as powerful as our sacred treasures." Merlin explains.

"Really? If so we need to test this. Extra weapons are never bad."

"Yes. I also noticed those materials changing too. They seem to gain the color of the feathers. We will have a cache of very colorful weapons that are very strong if wielded by the right person."

"Sounds good! Now all we need is descriptions of the materials and a blacksmith to make the weapons."

"Some didn't react to any of the materials I had with me. There are many things that could activate the feathers but I believe that the material depends on the abilities of the wielder. For Lizzy I saw that certain plants responded but they wouldn't work for any sort of weapon. I saw that a certain kind of gem practically glowed when in contact with the feather though."

"What gem?"

"The Arctic Vesuel."

"Isn't that the one that's really blue?"

"Yes. Now then, for Meliodas, your's didn't react. King, neither did yours. Ban, it seems yours is drawn to blood as well as a certain mixture of metals. Diane, your's didn't react either. Escanor, your's is drawn to sunsteel. Gowther, your's is drawn to pure magical power. Mine seems the same."

"Didn't react eh?" Meliodas ponders. "I might know what it's attracted to."

"Same here!" King says.

"I'm not sure for mine." Diane pouts.
