The evening was busy for many. The damage was big and many were injured by the sudden falling of the buildings. Clean up lasted until morning, while mages shifted and treated people in the near by hospital and clinics available.
Lance looked at the the area with serene eyes. Due to the Duke's magic the huge debris became easier to move and not much things were left laying on the street.
The silver haired woman went to help the doctor and other mages. He could tell that she was a skilled healer and had vast medical knowledge. If he connected the dots he was certain that she was a witch because of the many elixirs she pulled out.
But then she was brought to questioning by the higher ups. He couldn't do anything since he was kicked out!
Even though many kingdoms allowed other races in. Witches were the ones that bother humans the most and still to this day witches shall always be apart of the darkness. Witches being arrested was common in many kingdoms.
He had also met various witches, but none can come close to the silver-haired lady's standing. Just the way she carry's herself makes you question if she were actually a witch. She harsh but calm. She even patiently answered his question when they were busy in the clean up.
This already proves that she a kind person. He had already explained what had happened to the rest of them. But he's not sure about the others opinion. Especially Marcus, who was in charge of the interrogation right now along with the Duke and Travis. But...

In one of the empty medical tents, the 3 of them sat quietly. Not asking and question, instead it was a stared down between who would lose the composure first.
Angelica had a smiling face on while she looked at the three men. She had introduced herself as An. She wasn't mad at all... well maybe a little.
It had already been 30 minutes since anyone ever spoke. She was get it bored and this man's face was annoying. But there wasn't anything she could do about it.
'Damn man, just smile. Otherwise you'll stay single for you while life with that frown of yours!!' She thought.
This red haired lad, was just staring at her like she was a big enemy. Like all she did was walk in and bam! This guy stares at her like a pest and can wait to step on her!
"Ah! Your annoying. Very annoying!! Just say what you want so I can leaveeeee!" she dragged the word 'leave' and you could hear her annoyed tone.
"I can't do that. Your a suspicious person in the town." Marcus coldly said.
"Now I officially know two people who are stuck in the past and can't move on to the present." She sarcastically remarked.
Marcus was caught off guard by her words. He understood what she was talking about, but why did she mention it now?
"Look here red-head, the second I walked in you were ready to kill me. Why? Is it because... I'm a Witch?" She poked fun at him.
Marcus face turned into a frown. While the Duke just kept a straight face while silently observing her.
"You can suspect me all you want... but the real perpetrators are on the loose. Can you just sit around here and interrogate me like this?"
"Watch your mouth. How do we know your innocent or not? I'm curious to know why I shouldn't suspect you being apart of them and not just acting?" Marcus glared at her.
Angelica finally dropped her smiling face and let out a cold aura. The pressure in the room dropped and the man in front of her were affected by it tremendously.
'What's this? Why can't I move?' Marcus felt cold sweat fall from his face. His hands trembled and couldn't believe that this was coming from this young lady.
This time the man standing near the door spoke, "Marcus that's enough." His smooth and enchanting voice said.
Angelica's eyes widened. Oh my god! It's that singer from the alley!!!!
He then looked straight at Angelica, "Ms. An, it's ours fault for keeping you here for this long and please excuse my subordinate." He apologized and continued "Right now we are investigating a series of accidents and other problems that involved the situation earlier. Just answer these questions and you can be let off."
"Duke! She a witch! She can't be-" he swallowed his word seeing the dark face upon the Duke.
"Marcus!" His golden eyes pierced through him.
"Before starting your long questioning let me say something to this gentleman first." She had already retrieved her aura after the man apologized to her.
Sincerity can never be fake from this man. He wasn't hiding it when he apologized and his eyes said it all.
"You... as much as I don't want to say anything you probably need a pep talk." She said.
'A major pep talk!!' She thought but didn't say
"If I seemingly made you remember something. I apologize. But I'm a living being too, so get you god damn facts straight about judging people! Do you think I'm like him or her?" She narrowed her eyes.
"If you think I am... then your stupid. I have my pride and... I'm proud to be a witch. Got it? The second you looked at me and I told you that I'm a witch, you judge my race. That's what I find truly disgusting. Really disgusting!!"
"What happens if I wasn't cuffed? Well I'll tell you. You wouldn't be standing here without his help! I'm not a kind person and I sure as hell ain't one to discriminate people by race. Do this again next time... I will kill you." She finally stopped after seeing his dumbfounded face and looked at the Duke behind.
"Hurry up! I don't have all day!" Yes she just wanted to go home! This place was disgusting and she almost vomited from it.
Glaring at the red her lad she couldn't help but scold him. 'I hope you stay single for the rest of your life! Your stupid face won't get you anywhere even if you handsome! Stupid and stuck up! Bleh! Bleh!'
The Duke laughed all of a sudden making their attention shift to him.
"Young Lady, you have very interesting thoughts" his husky smooth voice said.
Angelica: "....." What— wha— are you kidding me? Her mouth was a gaped.
He's reading my mind?!?!!?!?
