This place was where all Angelica's crazy invention were made. It was camouflage house that will only be uncovered if hold Angelica's special permit. It was a house made into a hill and the many plants around it made it look like a normal place.
It wasn't easy to find.
Angelica and Odette walked into the small house along with the two wolves. Helix and Harry got excited and ran inside with much eagerness. Angelica giggled at the sight.
'Nothing better than begin at home!'
She turn her attention to her grandmother. Seeing that she was personally picked up she knew something big has happened.
"Listen up since the council is tomorrow I need you to do a little favour!" Odette had a mischievous face on and it scared both wolves.
Harry and Helix ran under the bed. Odette looked at the two wolves speechlessly.
"Hey you two! I'm not that scary why'd you hide?"
'Only we would know, what scary means after seeing that face' they both thought.
"Anyways, what I want you to do is. Make a scene at the council." Odette day down on the sofa and summon her tea set.
"Oh? That's interesting. What happened this time dearest grandmother?"
"Oh you won't believe it!" Odette sneered just thinking about it.
Angelica listened to all the accounts of what happen in the past 8 years. It's was a long catch up on things she missed, they had at least took 4 hours to complete the conversation of everything and the plan.
By the end of the talk she almost stormed the palace to bet the people up. But what was left of her rational side stopped her.
"I never really liked them. Why didn't you get rid of them and their betrayal from the beginning." Angelica said while sipping her tea.
"Hush nitwit! If you were here everything would have gone smoothly!" Odette said.
"Grandma how can you say that! Don't you love me!" Angelica whined.
"If I didn't then who will! Anyway remember tomorrow I'll count on you and you can count on me!!" Odette said before patting Angelica's head.
She had a doting expression and Angelica smiled at her.
Her grandmother was like her best friend she can always complain to her about things and they also scheme together like this as well. Not to mention all the nights of sleeping by her side just to make her feel better.
"I'm glad your back my sweet granddaughter." Odette gently said.
"It feels great to be back grandmother!" Angelica answered back.
"alright then I need to leave. You can tell me your stories another time. Bye child!"
Odette smiled before she disappeared in front of Angelica. Only a few sparkles of magic were left. She thought about tomorrow's mischief and smiled even wider. It was gonna be interesting and this time she could play with them for her heart content.
'But first..' she looked at her shoulder and sighed. She then walked towards a book shelf and pulled out a book. The book shelf then moved to the side and a staircase presented itself.
It wasn't to late but it also wasn't to early, she would at least like to fix her bleeding arm before walking into the palace with style.
Helix and Harry we're following right behind her as they enter the passage. After a few minutes they arrived to a spacious area filled with book and plants of all kinds.
Angelica walked towards a working bench that had a bunch of bottles. She touched the surface and looked at her fingers and saw how dusty it was in here.
Clapping her hands the room had air fill up and all the dust in the room suddenly got caught up and out of the room.
"Much better!!" Angelica said clapping her hands.
She quickly went to changed her clothes and came out wearing a white dress which showcased her beautiful arms and collarbone. It covered her bosoms and it's length ended just about her mid thighs. It's just that her blood red bandage ruined it. Her hair was also tied up into a bun making it easier for her to love around in.
But instead of admired her clothes she walked back to the work bench and took out a bunch of bottles. She took off her bandage and blood started flowing out right away.
'Seems like it shorten again.' She shook her head and filled each vial with her blood.
In total she had 10 vials of blood. She stopped her bleeding by drinking another potion. Her face had back pale but she didn't lose her focus. She rush towards a cabinet and pulled out a bunch of bottles in different sizes and shapes. Each filled with something in it.
"Helix can you put these on my bench?" Angelica spoke as she dug through the cabinet. Helix used his magic to shift all the items there while Angelica kept on throwing out things from the cabinet.
It was stressful for Helix as he had to catch each and everyone of them without breaking it. While his mater continued throwing things out and finally stopped only to move to another one and started throw more things out.
Helix: "....." master how can you do this to me?
The bench started becoming cramp up because of the stuff. Bottles of different colours and books cover the area.
Angelica finally stop and turned back toward the bench patting Helix's head saying thank you.
She took one of the vial and smelled it, she paused for a moment before grabbing one of the bottles and mixing it with its solution. She kept on mumbling random things while moving around.
She opened a few books and looked at too see if any similar or close to poison thing was in there.
But. Nothing. Absolutely nothing came from the books. It seemed like a newly made one otherwise there was no way she wouldn't know about it. She looked at the 6 vials she used and sighed.
Four turned into more failures while two of them exploded making her sigh. But she didn't get discouraged at all. Instead it flared up her spirit into finding more about this poison and it cure.
She took another vial and started working on it right away. She worked very late into the night until she slept on the floor with all the potions and books around her.
Helix and Harry helpless looked at her. Helix used his magic to shift her to a bed she kept around in the working place. Both wolves then slept near Angelica's bed.
Little did they know that the only two vials that didn't explode changed over night into the magical cure she was looking for.
Or at least she thought would be it.
