72 Relief

Carmelina smiled once again and only shuddered at the power this little princess held. She wanted it. She wanted nothing more than to have the power of a princess. Getting up and dusting her clothes, She brought out her weapon.

Angelica who was in frantic state moved very fast, and threw another kick to Carmelina head which the latter blocked with her arms. Yet it sent her flying to another side.

She sheer force of that kick almost crushed her bones. She truly wondered if this was the power of the late Princess or the power of her unknown father. Either way she can't let her guard down now.

"Princess is that all you got? Why don't you go and blast my head off? Like you've done to the others in the past!" She said and saw Angelica eyes glare fiercely even more.

Waving her fan Angelica created a dozen wind blades heading straight for the witch. She even mixed fire with them making them more deadly.

Carmelina this time dodge the predictable blades of magic and appeared right in front of Angelica.

Stab! She used her blade to stab Angelica deep into her stomach.

"Hey little princess, I remember that you didn't even save that one human you loved dearly!! What was her name? Stacie? Ah! I remember she even blocked an attack for you right-"

Angelica had one hand on the dagger and the other hand on the neck of this witch. She smiling like a madman she clenched Carmelina neck tightly.

"Burst." And wind magic bursted at the contact.

An agonizing scream ripped inside the the barrier. Angelica had mercilessly crushed Carmelina neck but made sure not to snapped it broken. She still wanted the witch to suffer.

"Hey... did you know? I hate noise people. So you don't need that noise marker of yours." Angelica said letting her grip go.

Carmelina gasped and frowned from the pain of the throat and jumped back. She never thought that this little girl would be such a pain. Even after losing that much blood she can move just fine. Narrowing her eyes she looked at the two dagger embedded into Angelica, and then to the princess who's was heavily panting.

No, she's just ignoring her body damage, while her pain was numbed. Carmelina smiled and now thought of her next action.

But since her throat was crushed it was really hard. She put some of her powers to heal herself until she was able to speak again.

"Little Princess, you have to try better than that. Seriously I wondered what Odette taught you? Oh right! Didn't you runaway? Runaway from reality? After finding out humans were fragile, you wanted to do nothing more than to runaway from them since your affairs that the people you love will die by you!!!" Carmelina said in a hoarse voice.

Angelica paused at the words and she clenched her head from the pain.

'No... it wasn't me. I didn't... I never killed them... I... it's wasn't me!! It wasn't me!!' Her thoughts were being clouded by guilt and the large wound in her heart was now out in the open.

The last strands of her sanity were fading away. Angelica looked at Carmelian who was smiling.

"Your so pathetic!" Carmelina laughed at her and saw the princess rashly run towards her.

Pulling out her another dagger this time she aimed to stabbed at the heart of Angelica.

"TEACHER!!!!" Cathal yelled desperately as he saw his teacher lose control. His heart was being held on a rope any moment now it would burst. He had stopped Ivan from going inside the barrier recklessly but now he wanted to rush in their as well and drag out his teacher. If only he wasn't so weak.

Ivan watch the barrier carefully for any holes to break through in but it seems that the person didn't leave anything behind. It was well made as if ready for this purpose. His eyes widened at realization. No way!!

It was a whole scheme just to get the Princess!!

Now he was beyond pissed!!

"Cathal move. I'm going to destroy this damn barrier and murder the fuck out of that woman!" He hissed keeping his eyes on the two people.

He didn't hesitate this time and decided to end it in one slash. He hadn't used his magic full potential since wit was dangerous but now it finally appeared in front of their eyes. He carried a vast amount of magic and this was probably a quarter of what Angelica was using.

Meaning his full power wasn't out in the open yet.

"Hell's Destroyer" a blue flame covered his sword and he slashed right through the barrier. Just like that.

He really wished that he used it earlier and deeply regret it. If only his brain wasn't so clouded at the time. But it was to late to do anything about it.

He looked at the barrier and slashed right down making the barrier split open. He watch it burn for awhile and then start repairing itself. He didn't even hesitate and jumped between that gap to enter the barrier that kept the Princess within.

He gaze looked for the figure and was relieved that she was standing but soon noticed something was off.

Ivan felt his throat swallow something hard at the scene. He watched Angelica holding the arm of the witch she had ripped off, while she had another dagger imbedded on her shoulder once again. Her face was completely covered in blood as she stare with dead eye at the witch. The crazy smile she had was gone.

"Slash."

Angelica commanded and the wind moved again to Carmelina who was holding her right side trying to stop the bleeding. She looked at blades coming and felt her body being cut once more. This time it was her leg.

"AHHH!!" She screamed from the pain and started moving back from the Princess.

Angelica got back her mind after hearing Cathal yelling before hand. She had never thought that kid would yell and she wished for him to scream again like a little boy so she could use it to tease him in the future.

"I really don't have anymore time for you old hag." She threw the arm behind her and started walking towards the witch who glaring at her.

"Honestly, this is such a pain. And right now I want nothing more than to get over with it." She stop a few steps away from Carmelina.

She brought her fan and covered half her face and looked down at the witch who was seething with anger.

"Can you die for me?" And she waved her fan cutting off the witch's head. Blood came gushing out from her neck as the body fell limp and fell to the ground.

She watched the head roll and then brought her gaze up to the barrier that started disappearing after Carmelina had died. She sighed in relief and relaxed her tensed shoulders.

Angelica looked down to her body that was cover in her blood and also the many holes that she had in her body due to the daggers.

She moved her hand to pull out the dagger in her stomach slowly and this time she hissed in pain. Her thoughts were back and also the pain. She pulled out the knife completely and covered her stomach that was bleeding with her hand.

She panted from the pain and found that her consciousness was fading.

'I lost to much blood. But maybe it's a good thing.. I can finally see her again.' She smiled sadly and closed her eyes falling forward.

Ivan has rushed over and caught Angelica in his arms and immediately started putting pressure on her wounds.

"CATHAL!" He called over and picked up the bleeding Angelica and ran over to Cathal. She lost to much blood and her face was pale as snow if anything he was afraid of what might happen to her.

Ivan gently placed her down and Cathal used his healing magic to help her. Even though he was weak his magic hasn't gotten weak at all.

"Cradle Fire" a magic that he could use to heal wounds. But it may take awhile since Angelica was suffering from multiple.

"Healing Gale" the one who casts this spell was Felix, who finally woke up after that excruciating pain. From the distance he could only see the body of his teacher laying on the ground while Cathal used his magic.

"Felix..." Cathal looked at him and then back to his teacher who was breathing shallowly. He couldn't even stay mad because his anxiousness wouldn't go away.
