Angelica didn't mind the intruder and looked at the animals slowly making their way to the pond. She gave a smile and looked at the magic beast that was guarding the smaller animals. She didn't expect them to come but it was her fault for coming into the forest anyway.
She wanted to be alone after her talk with Alina. And she already knew Ivan was hit on her trail since he pasted her magic line while she was running earlier. The man really is strange.
"Don't mind me I'm here to relax. Young forest animals please enjoy they might I have no bad intentions." She said and continued soaking the in water.
Ivan on the other hand felt like he was doing a crime now. Watching a woman bath without her knowing...
He's really a pervert now. Ivan decided to not look at her and close his eyes. But he couldn't cover his ears and suddenly thought that closing his eyes made it harder not to think of what's happening.
Angelica looked at the tiny little animals fill the pond and happily play together while the huge magic beast actually rested near her shoes to her surprise. She looked at the white tiger beast and that watched her with it golden eyes.
Golden eyes...
The ones that reminded her of sunflowers that proudly stood with to others in its brilliant morning colour. It was just like Ivan's eyes.
"Madam Beast, are you having fun?" She asked sitting in the water and occasionally making ripples as she moved around ever so slightly. If the beast was just gonna stare at her then she would rather talk.
"Child your really arrogant. But indeed I'm in a joyful mood." The tigress respond much to her surprise.
Angelica almost laughed. Even if she started the conversation she don't expect the tigress to join.
"Am I that arrogant? I know many who are even worse then me. But someone once told me that I'm narcissists. And I couldn't agree anymore." Angelica said.
The tigress laughed at the word of the witch. The large tiger then switch her form to a half-beast form. Part human and beast. Her golden eyes wandered over the witch and softly asked her curious thoughts as she laid down to rest.
"Little Witch, why are you here alone in my forest? Are you simply here to relax? You certainly are carefree." The tigress mused.
Angelica sighed and laid down in the water letting her body float on its surface. While she spoke to the tiger who was sitting on land, her blue eyes looked at the golden and she smiled.
"I came here to remember a friends that I killed. And to understand why a man loves me when I'm like this." She laughed kicked the water.
"My grandmother loved a man but he died before I could see him. After that my mother was raped and I was born. But I was rare child so I ate my mother magic in the womb. My mother then died during the witch hunt and lived in the forest for 67 years."
The tigress only listen with an bored face and watched the young lady who entered her forest with mysterious eyes.
Ivan who heard this for the first time also felt his heart hurt hearing her words but also skip a beat when she confessed how confused she was about his words and feelings. It was probably a good thing she was thinking about it.
"I worked with many people and grew fond of humans. But I also forgot that they were fragile.
I then killed my best friend that I dearly love and then another one of the my friends were attacked as I slumber I underground." Angelica continued.
"And finally I decided that every time I was near any I held dear, they would either leave me or break due to me. I'm simply bad luck."
"Your trying to escape reality child or even the care they have for you." The tigress answered and Angelica paused for a moment and looked at the starry sky. The white little sparkles that fill the sky, how many were there? She'll never know because she was to busy with figuring out her life.
"I don't think so. I been very much thinking about reality. I've waited the pros and cons of my decisions and I decided that if I can protect those around me by staying away I'll be happy. I don't mind being alone."
"Their care? I don't know. I only had people interested in my power and abilities to heal. But I also have a lot of hate because of that. Their care is only a unnecessary thing... I think." Angelica got up and looked at the stunning half beats with raised brows.
"They say that animals are smarter then humans much so magic beast. What's it like to stay true to your desire?" Angelica asked boldly making the tigress laugh.
"Very arrogant."
"It's because I'm a witch." Angelica smirked.
The tigress smirked back, " I thought that compared to animals, humans are the ones that stay true to their desires. Yet here you are denying it. You are the being selfish and stupid. You think that the world revolves around you and your the cause of their pain. Isn't that simply foolish? How can a mere person like you be the cause of their sufferings? Everyone had their own issues and how could you simply blame yourself for their problems. Your quite stupid."
"You've said that a man likes you. I wonder why you make yourself seem so bad? It's like you want him to say that your all this and that. Do you truly want him think like that? Very dumb. Very very dumb. Listen here witch!!!" The tigress glared at the young witch who had nothing but ignorance and stupidity within her.
"If a man gets on his knees and confessed he loved you. If a man holds your hand and tells you, that you the most precious thing in his life. If a man tells you that you past doesn't matter but that future and present count then that is indeed a man who's in love with you! A man who truly loves you would see you as his equal and someone that would stay by your side for life! That is the type of man I have in my life!" The tigress proudly declared.
Angelica and Ivan: "....."
The tigress was proudly showing her love life of a witch and she don't feel any shame. Angelica chuckled since she found it adorable.
Angelica let out a loud laugh and said to the tigress. "Indeed beast are better then man who can move their mouths."
"Leave child, of my husband finds you he won't be lenient as I." The tigress said and changed back to her animal form. She jumped into the water and started playing with the little animals.
Angelica took her warning and slowly got up from the water dripping wet. She felt the cool air hit her but didn't care since she was in way wrist conditions and a little bit of cold wouldn't hurt her.
Ivan who was staring at her while she was talking couldn't help but freeze seeing her body under the moonlight.
A sliver fairy... no a goddess. Like his mind, he words also blanked out as he couldn't even describe the scene with the word he had.
It was simply breath taking.
"Thanks for the chat. I shall leave these as a thank you, Madam Beast." She pulled her pouch out and took out a bunch of berries that beast like. She then stepped out of the water and looked towards the direction of the man who had been there for awhile.
"Ivan... are you here to catch me?" Angelica looked at the golden eyes that would look straight at her when talking and smiled. She fixed up her hair and made it into a bun. Ivan felt like he swallowed very hard again due to her actions. He even turned his head away from her.
"I'm here." She said when she noticed that his eyes were looking, at a tree of all things. Is there something in the tree?
"Your clothes!" He muttered and Angelica looked down and found it completely normal.
"I'm just a little wet, what's wrong with you?" She asked. "Hmm? Are you gonna let me escape once more? Because I won't hesitate too. I still have 40 minutes left to midnight."
Ivan looked at her and smirked, "If I say I want you to surrender would you? Are you gonna surrender?"
"I will." She said with out hesitation.
Ivan jumped at her words and his mouth opened slightly before closing it again.
"Princess are you being serious? Will you really surrender or are you just playing with me..." he stopped see her frown at him and looked at him as if he was a dumb person.
"Ivan... do you dare to say that again? Because now I want to understand why your backing away? I was truly surrendering. But why are you backing away?" Angelica asked with her voice trying to be calm.
But she didn't hear an answer. Her heart that was beating for awhile very loudly felt a crack somewhere within her.
'Why did you go trust a human once again?' An inner voice asked her. But she didn't want to listen. She instead waited for his response.
Angelica didn't even mind his silence, instead she gave him her usual smile. The one that had no meaning.
