Charity Ball

The next couple of days have been very busy and hectic for both Lillian and also Elizabeth.

The two hardly had the time to even talk to each other, even though they lived in the same house, for now.

Lillian was in better swing and she felt happier.

There is this sadness that still existed somewhere in her heart but she pushed that aside.

"One has to live in order to live, right?" She said to Elizabeth once.

From what the therapist told Lillian, it would seem that past trauma suddenly resurfaced and, since they were not dealt with properly, they are suddenly affecting her drastically now.

"That makes sense," Elizabeth said when Lillian told her what the therapist said the day of the charity ball. "You should have gone earlier."

"Yeah. I should have." She said, laughing as she pinned a blue carnation on her violet. "Well, better late than never, I suppose."
