Year End Tournament

KJ got some leftovers and quickly prepared them for Kabal as he made his way out. He rushed a bit so he could get there sooner and he finally met with Sindra once again.

Sindra bowed. "Greetings to the successor. The King wishes to see you." Sindra led KJ down to the main hall and left the room as soon as KJ entered.

KJ bowed deeply to Alfin who was seated extravagantly in a very high chair while KJ was standing on the ground from far below.

Alfin always seemed to be a bit cheerful when he had his successor around him. "My disciple I called you on urgent matters. I did as you advised and travelled to the land. What was it called…. Oh, the Golden Continent. I remembered what you told me word for word but I still couldn't believe my eyes. In the Golden Continent, the skies are a vibrant golden yellow. In the Scorched Continent, the skies appeared to be a lively scarlet red. I travelled to the largest civilization and let my spiritual energy harmlessly leak out. It alerted their king just like you said it would. He wore pristine white and gold robes. I asked him about the tournament and he explained the rest to me."

Alfin: He explained it perfectly. Near the end of the year, a tournament will be held in order to find a husband for the Emperor's daughter. He is inviting the strongest warriors in the lands. The rules entail the following. The participants must be at least in the Spirit Connection Realm and they must be below the age of 30. Each sect or family will be given the option to bring 2 combatants. I know that you're interested in attending this tournament but who will be the second? Kabal won't be able to grow fast enough

KJ smirked… everything was going according to plan. "My king I'll require you to hold a mini tournament in our Abyss. It will help us determine our second combatant. I believe it will be Raiju but I'm not familiar with all of the youth in the Abyss."

Alfin thought for a moment before responding. "Hmmm. A tournament wouldn't be an issue. It'll be held in 2 months from now at the Training Grounds. After the tournament remember to put your focus into breaking into the next realm."

KJ finished speaking to King Alfin and left the palace. After KJ stepped out of the palace he walked by Raiju's house. The sword was no longer there… maybe Raiju was already at KJ's house?

KJ finally got back to his house and the door was already slightly opened. He was expecting Raiju but it was just Kabal. He was still injured and resting but he sat with a smile on his face.

KJ rested for the next few days and then gave Kabal a massive beating. Kabal was panting and his voice was clearly strained. "Why does it seem like today has been much harder than yesterday? I'm barely holding myself up, I could collapse at any second."

KJ: You're right I did make today's beating much more intense. It's because I'll be going into secluded training. I need to take this time and cross over into the Spirit Connection Realm. I know the perfect place to train and I won't be back for at least 2 months. I'll beat you one time for good measure... and just know once I finish you won't be seeing me for a while

KJ left his house and went over to Raiju's place. KJ walked up to the wooden door and gave it 3 knocks.

KNOCK KNOCK CLICK-

It was Raiju's little brother.

"Oh, it's KJ… why have you come…..?" The boy was still a little frightened.

STOMP STOMP STOMP

A giant hand took a hold of the door and swung it open… It was Raiju.

Raiju looked surprised and a bit happy. "KJ why did you come all the way over here? I'm sorry I didn't have time to thank you for the sword. I was still healing from my injuries….. I actually wanted to have a drink with you as well so I wanted to be in good health." Raiju looked as if he sincerely was telling the truth.

KJ waved his hands in the air. "Oh no no no. I came here to notify you of the tournament that is going to be held in 2 months. It is a tournament in which the winner will get a cultivation pill and get to go to a greater tournament. I'm going and I was wondering if you wanted to join the tournament."

Raiju: Do I have to agree?

KJ: Of course....... you have your own free will

Raiju couldn't put up an act for long. He loved to fight and he would jump at the chance to grow stronger. "If there's a tournament I will be there. I haven't met a youth stronger than me that is under 30 years of age.... Well, I guess you're the first."

KJ: Raiju take the next few days to rest and heal your remaining wounds. Once you are fully healed come to my house. I'll be going now
