As I was speaking to the red haired beauty, the lights went off.
"Hey Juro, can you light it up the lamp again?" The only thing I heard was a 'thump' sound, It could be said to be almost imperceptible, but my ears caught it!
"Juro! What're you doing?" Jasmine asked the darkness, hopping to get some answers she went further, where my eyes not yet adapted to this dark place was blind to that point.
"Wait Jasmine!" I muttered, where only the girl next to me was able to hear. Not only that, I stepped further too as I wanted to not lose her here.
Unexpected, I lost her! She was right in front of me, yet... she was gone now - "Jasmine where did you go?" I tried saying a little more loud. But I was afraid, I didn't know what was happening, I couldn't-
Stopping my thoughts I heard another 'thump' sound, at this point I was panicking, my legs were shaking, my head didn't felt groggy anymore, but still, my lower body stopped working.
After a couple of seconds that felt longer than what it should be, my eyes finally adapted, my iris widened and my pupil dilated to receive the minimum amount of light that could to see in this dim place.
With the little information I was receiving for my vision, I saw two figures lying on the ground. That was what made me move, I started walking backwards, than running, exploring this little maze with bookshelfs, I tried to hide but no spot could be found.
Not that soon I finally heard something - "Farnel... help me~" It was Nash's voice! Not wanting to waste more time I went to him and saw his sillhouete on the a wall on the side of another wine rack.
"Nash! Are you okay, what is happeni-" I couldn't even finish my sentence as his figure dashed towards me thrusting something sharp into my throat.
That move made me start to choke on my own blood and struggle for my life.
Before I started having my last thought I heard steps from upstairs.
"Hrelp-" It was all that I could muster to say while having my mouth filled with my own blood. After that my body's processor shut down.
⨁
"'Sigh', why are they taking so long?" I said as I caressed my own red hair.
After a couple of minutes it already started getting boring here, and now they probably have found something interesting and they didn't call me!
"Maybe... it's my fault..." I muttered knowing that if I were a little more brave...
'So now, I can't falter!' That thought came to me and I decided to descend!
Arriving at the open trapdoor I looked down and to my surprise I couldn't see any light, but now I can't go back!
I started with my right foot, as I placed down I went foward and placed my left one, however on this moment I heard something akin to a gargle, someone trying to say something with a liquid on the sames' mouth.
As said before, I decided to not falter. I immediately went down faster to discover what was happening.
The place decided to not help me as my vision was in this complete darkness - "Guys, are you there? Talk to me!" Even if I didn't turn back, I still was a little shaken up when my eyes was not capable of receiving light.
I at least had the phrase in my mind: 'With time, I should be able to see'.
But my imagination was only trying to soothe me, because not soon the unexpected really happened.
A sharp tool or weapon pierced me in my liver. With the sudden pain I turned back quickly trying to kick the attacker.
When the sole of my foot got the person, he flew a little back and fell - "'Argh', stop being troublesome, if the others were not drunk, would they be like you?" The voice said.
'This voice, the way of speaking-' With the imminent thought - "Is this you... Nash" I said, using almost all air that I had in my lungs.
"Yes... sorry, I thought it was going to be quick as I said to you however... I found my new milk hehe..."
