So Suspectious
At Gulod, Novaliches.
The stars were going out now, one by one, dropping like pennies behind the television aerials, so the sun rises, it's light appears so reddish, It appears on Elvira's face. She woke up and saw that her husband was not by her side. She went out of the room only to find her husband setting the table.
"Ah.... Mahal, what are you doing?"
"Good morning Mahal, come and have your sit. I cooked chicken Adobo, Rice, Menudo, Pancit molo" he drew out a chair for her to sit.
"Wow, my husband is the best" she praised her husband.
"Where is Leonel? Is he still sleeping"
"Yes, he is still....
"Tatay" Leonel shouted and ran to his father. His father carried him and placed him on his laps.
"Leonel, I thought you were still sleeping?"
"I woke up because I heard your voice...are you not going to work today?"curious
"No, I have no work today. I want to spend today with my family"
"Really tatay"
"Yes" he pats his son's head.
Elvira entered the room to carry Carissa. Leonel sat with his father and Nicolas led the prayer.
"In the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit, Amen. Lord, we thank You for the food you have placed on our table. We thank You for the strength you have given to us. We thank You that you will protect us and our loves ones, Amen, In the name of the father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit"
"Amen" they said in chorus
They began to eat the food.
"Yummy..... this is super delicious...i think there is magic in your hands... I admits you are a better cook than I am" she spoke the truth.
Nicolas loved to cook, when he was young, he will stay with his mom in the kitchen and helped her cook...
Then, after his mom died of stroke, when he misses her, he will go to the kitchen and cook. That way, he will remember his mom...
He became an excellent cook, that no woman can cook better than him; not even his wife, so she has always looked at him as the best cook ever.....
"Yes Tay, this food is super delicious. You know what Tay, I think you should teach Carissa how to cook, right carissa"
Carissa nods her head signifying that she supports Leonel.
"Leonel, your sister is too young to learn how to cook. She has not even started school" Nicolas said calmly.
"But I know how to cook" Leonel was adamant.
He sure knows how to cook because he learnt that from his father but not Carissa...isn't she too too young.....
"Leonel, don't be stubborn and your sister is too young. I won't allow her to step into her kitchen yet" she refused.
"Don't worry, l'm sure she will learn it when she is much older..... and don't worry, I will be the one to teach your little sister" he pinched his cheeks and they burst out laughing.
The family chatted and ate will joy.

At blue bridge A, Quezon City
Miguel and Camia entered Karen's room and walked to her bed. Camia sat on the soft bed and bend over to kiss her daughter's head. Karen opened her eyes.
"Good morning baby girl" Miguel smiled.
"Good morning.Dad are you going to work today?" she rubbed her eyes.
"No, I want to spend today with my little princess"
"Really, dad"
Karen got down from her bed and hugged her dad.....
"Do you remember when I told you that I will make it up to you"
"Yes" she nodded her head
"Well....we are going out to today"
"Really" she was exuberant
"Anak, I think you should get dressed"
"Okay, mom"
"Miguel, why don't you invite your friends? I think it's is not bad if we go out together today"
Camia is known for her generosity. Even though she is rich, she will never look down on anybody no matter how poor they are....
"Oh, that's true. Let me call dino"
Miguel brought out his phone and dialed Dino's number.
"Dino, Good morning"
"Good morning, what's up"
"My family will want to invite you"
"What's the special occasion" he asked anxiously.
"Ah.... nothing, we are just going out today since we are free"
"Oh sorry, I won't be able to join you guys. I have a meeting with my other colleagues. I will see you later." he hung up before Miguel could say anything.
"What did he say" Camia asked
"He is not coming" he said coldly.
"Oh...okay" she said with disappointment on her face.
"What about Nicolas"
"We will go to their place"
After thirty minutes....
Karen came out dressed. She was putting on a black shirt decorated with gold giltter and a blue jean with a black shoe. She looks so cute.....
"Are you ready" Miguel asked.
"Yes"
The driver drove a black Toyota Avanza in front of their house. Miguel opened the back door for his wife and child to enter. He entered the back seat and the car drove away.

Nicolas walked into the sitting room and sees his children playing. He sat on the chair and kept his eyes on his children. Elvira walked into the sitting room after washing the dishes and noticed Nicolas
"Nicolas, what are you starring at" she asked
"You know what..... we are so lucky to have children like this two"
"What made you say that"
"God gives special children to special people, right leonel" he turned to look at Leonel with a smile on his face.
"Yes tatay, I am lucky to have special, lovely parent like you both"
"Now, promise me that you will always be good children"
"I promise tatay"
Smiling, "What about you baby carissa"
"I promise" she said.
"Come here,carissa"
Carissa dropped her doll and ran to her father. Nicolas carried her on his laps and whispered in her ear. She smiled happily.
"Do you like that, huh"
"Yes"
"Now give daddy a big hug" Carissa hugged her dad.
There was a knock on the door.
"Who could that be" she asked
They were not actually expecting any visitors today, right.....
she got up and opened the door...
"Oh my God, come in" she directed them in.
"Bok, what are you doing here" he stood up from the chair.
"Surprise! We are here to pick you up"
"Why? Where are we going to? he asked anxiously looking at him
"We are going out since today is Saturday, I think we should enjoy ourselves after the stress from work. So..... we are here to pick you up" he smiled
Since the family of the ocampos are here to pick them up, they can not decline their invitation. So they have no other choice but to accept.
"I agree with him" Elvira immediately said
"I think we should get dressed them" Nicolas finally accepted.
"Okay, we will be waiting"

At star park, Pasay.
Thirty minutes later...
They got to the park and went to pay for their tickets. Nicolas brought out his wallet to pay for the tickets but Miguel stopped him.
"I will pay for the tickets. I actually invited you here so why should you pay"
" Thank you bok" he smiled
"Welcome" he smiled back at him and pats his back.
Miguel brought out some cash from his wallet and gave it to the conductor. He man gave him seven tickets. They entered the family zone.
After thirty minutes...
Miguel phone rang.....
"Ehm.....excuse me, I need to take this call" Miguel left their mist to pick the call...
"Mr lao, what do you need...okay, I will meet you tonight.....yes, nine p.m on the dot...lets meet at the usual place..... yes..."
Nicolas keep looking at miguel.....
"What can be the problem? Why is he taking too long" he thought
"Let me go to him"
Nicolas went to Miguel who was still on a phone call.
"Miguel"
Immediately Miguel dropped the call. He was terrified but he tried to hide it.
Why was he scared? Was he hiding something from Nicolas? What could it be?
