Slaughter x Chloe

"This is a hunter's license!" - shouted the man.

Hearing the scream, the two armed robbers quickly turned to their partner. The other clients also moved their heads slightly toward the source of the noise.

By the time the robber yelled, Shakal had already cut off both his hands. Blood was scattered around him. The man cried out in pain and fear, because he was losing a lot of blood.

The customers, surprised by the scene, were left in a state of shock, not knowing how to react. Some of them closed their eyes at the strong scene.

The other two robbers quickly aimed at Shakal, and fired. Shakal quickly activated his aura and created various blood shields, invisible to non-nen users. With them, the bullets were reflected.

Seeing that something really strange was happening, one of the two robbers took a small grenade from his pocket.

Shakal, seeing the intention of his enemy, with a quick movement of his legs, came to the side of the robber. He placed his hands around his enemy and created several threads of blood fortified with nen inside the robber's body.

The three threads created pierced several vital organs, such as the heart, directly killing the robber. All this happened in such a short time, that the other opponent did not even have time to react.

Shakal turned to the last standing robber, and without taking too long, used the same technique as with the previous one. The end result was the immediate death of his opponent.

The other clients, seeing that the situation seemed to be under the strange man's control, began to rise. Shakal quickly said.

"Everyone calm down, I am a professional hunter and they are already dead. Each of you can collect your stolen valuables and calmly leave the restaurant. Also, call the police to take care of the bodies. "

People, still shocked by what they saw, quickly nodded, and without saying a word they left the restaurant one by one.

When the young woman, target of the robbers, along with her companion were about to leave the door, Shakal stopped them.

They were both surprised, but said nothing. You could see the fear on their faces.

Seeing that there was no one left but the three of them. Shakal, who did not want to meet the police, spoke up.

"From the above situation, you seemed to be the target of the robbers. Rather, you have something in possession that they desperately want. "

The girl gasped at hearing her words. He put his hands on his head, and said nothing. Instead, the face of his companion, was a mix between fear and hatred towards the hunter.

A few seconds later, the girl finally mustered up the courage to speak.

"But what do they want? My family is very rich and we have many things of great value."

The girl spoke in a very low tone, relatively difficult for an ordinary person to hear. Shakal quickly replied.

"It must be something that you normally use, like an accessory or something. Because if they attack you here, logically they would think you would have it on them. "

Hearing the hunter's response, both the woman and the man were shocked. The woman realized the object that the robbers were likely to seek, while the man was amazed at how quickly he understood everything, and his fear began to increase even more.

Seeing that the situation would probably get uglier for him, the mystery man spoke up.

"Chloe, we should leave now, let's go home."

The man quickly grabbed the girl by the arm, leading her toward the door. Chloe quickly tried to get away but from her companion, but could not.

Shakal reached out and with an agile movement, grabbed the man's arm and stopped him. They were both surprised to see Shakal's gesture. The man tried to let go but the force that Shakal applied was far superior to his. The only thing that could still move was his mouth.

"Leave me idiot. Let go!"

Despite the man's screams, Shakal remained immovable in the same place. Chloe managed to get away from her companion, and asked Shakal to release him. Seeing the girl's action, Shakal said,

"Do you really want to help him?"

Chloe quickly replied.

"Of course, you're hurting him, he's also my fiance."

Hearing the girl's response, Shakal slowly released the man's arm. Chloe, seeing that her fiancé was released, gave Shakal a smile, before reprimanding her way to the exit.

Just before the two of them left the restaurant, Shakal said.

"One last thing, woman, your dear fiancé, seems very interested in the important object you possess, and from what I could deduce, the contract to the three robbers. So be careful, or do what you want. Not my problem."

Once Shakal finished speaking, Chloe turned to see her fiancé's face, and what she saw, left her almost traumatized. The man's face was so twisted with rage and fear that it didn't look human at all. His eyes emanated unusual cruelty.

Without giving the girl time to react, the man quickly ran towards one of the darkest streets he found, he managed to escape.

Shakal didn't bother stopping him, his job was already done.

The girl, unfortunately, either by the previous situation, or by the discovery about her fiancé, could not stand up, and fell to the ground,in a state of unconsciousness.
