Book 1:Chapter 31: Liuoybruch
Even with clarity and calmness I just don't know what to do.
' Too many enemy that's a battalion, by just the number in front me alone numbers in hundred!'
'Yet still this is EXP, I hope this creatures are not that strong. There's nowhere to hide or to run also. This isn't good!' I thought while dashing towards Mingyun.
I look at the mob of giant abomination and the more I got closer, I saw it's name and level above it's head.

' So they're around Level 100-105 huh'
"Mingyun! Here! How did you get this too much trouble?" I shouted at Mingyun, also to attract some mobs towards me.
As expected some Liuoybruch blinks their disgusting eye and look towards me, some charge towards me.
By it's sheer size you can imagine they're slow, but not in this situation. They're fast! In fact so fast for their size.
'Fast! Not to the point of overwhelmingly fast, but still... Damn it, I can do this think of them as EXP.' I chant at my mind.
"Come here EXP! Mingyun de aggro. Or leave the valley first I'll follow you after." I shouted.
Mingyun was busy fending off the attacks coming towards him, lots of broken shard of weapon, like worms lunging narrowly dodging. But he heard me, as just I said he ran away towards the exit of the mist.
I focus my senses and lunge towards the Liuoybruch in front of me.

They screech like mad seeing my movement as a provocation.
It lunged toward me while it's limbs grab towards me. I saw many openings.
'At least they're not that hard to handle if one on one, but they're not alone.'
I thought while calmly doing a side leap and slash the Scythe to it's side tearing a gush of flesh. Blood spurted by that doesn't enough to make the charge stop in fact it made them more angry.
After doing that I felt something at my back coming towards me, I didn't hesitate to duck and roll sidewards.
Looking at my back I saw a tiger like paw slashed towards my previous situation, but that's not all after I look up I saw rocks. Yes rocks flying towards me.
'Damn it! No chance to retaliate or at least deal damage without taking same damage.'
Continuing to jump sidewards, Rolling and running until I saw Mingyun got out of the fog. And as expected the monster can't exit the fog.
'Alright that's that. But now there's this problem I'm their sole target now. Damn it! Shit.' A barrage of curses escape under my breath.
I continue to dodge while getting scratches, yes they're fast. But due to sheer size and seemingly unintelligent traits, the space they take up and the root I'm dodging making them damage each other by slashing, or ramming to each other.
'This cannot go on I'll run out of space and will be corner soon enough.'
I decided to confront them dealing damage as soon as possible.
Not stopping my running confront one in front of me, I sidestep then stab with all my might. The Scythe seemingly infinitely sharp, yet it got stuck inside it's flesh.
I ripped out the flesh the scythe it got stuck gushing lots of blood. I tore through the a large chunks on it's side.
ScriaaaaAAAah!
'They're that tough. Clumsy, Unintelligent, reckless this should be easy. But their sizes and mindless fighting made it harder.'
Specially when I see a large thick arm slam the ground where I am, it cave in like an anvil drop from a 10 feet tall building. Means they have strength agility and high vitality.
'Still dodging soon enough this will tire me out damn it!'
Doing a side roll I saw a large body parts of Liuoybruch with an hideous eyes in front of me.
I decided to slash it horizontally cutting the eye in half.
ScriaaaaAAAah!
It screech twitching even tho they had so much eyes on their sides, it still twitch seemingly unbearable pain when the eyes got damage. The Liuoybruch even ram at the side Liuoybruch then another got slammed clamping like a small mountain.
'So this is their weakness, If I focus the attack there maybe!' But reality once again proven him how cruel it can be. By knowing doesn't mean preventing.
The seemingly many arms now try to grab him instead of smashing him. So many hands big body around his space.

"Why isn't he coming out yet? Damn it. Will I'll be running all the time? He came to save me yet here I am sucking my thumb, What the shit is that thing anyway." Mingyun spat out in anger.
Looking at his back back only exactly two dozen of arrows left.
"Screw it I won't be strong or reach my goal like this" Mingyun threw the caution to the wind.

Continuing the battle more like whack a mole, and Regal is the mole they're trying to whack.
'Three in front, four at the side charging while the one behind me charging like a bull. While the rest at the back waiting for me they're forming an encirclement.'
They number more than a hundred but due to my size they can't corner me. But that's not the case all the time. Like now they're already forming an encirclement.
"Screw it lump of EXP come here!"
Slash! Swish! Schwuak!
I slash at the closest one in it's eye, as expected it scream and dive towards my position I jump sidewards because if I only jump upwards they my bite me in the air.
'The calm influx skill really is great, if I don't have this skill and panicked I would have died and overwhelmed.
'Blow for blow then I'll exit since they can't follow me outside the mist. Alright!'
Holding the scythe with to hard I ready my self then slashed upward, sidewards more blood soak me, gaining more scratches by the flying rubble of rock.
After slashing an eye in front of me this time I put more strength then the scythe like cutting through butter, push through the flesh I jump at it's back then jump back while using the gravity to slash open the other eyes while I fall the ground.

'Finally able to kill one! Whoa damn this EXP! This is a treasure trove!' The EXP shocked me it's big for a single mob. Being here running and dodging slashing for straight 20 mins, by seeing the EXP remove my fatigue. Well Regal isn't really that tired but this EXP serves as motivation now.
During that time Regal only killed one, because damaging one will make it twitch madly attack around it. By the size he can't really chase the one he damaged.
"Alright come here EXP! This will be the place that will lead me to LVL. 100" Regal grin while continue to fight.
Slash, Cut, Side roll jump. Run kitting hardly continue to fight.

'There's no end to this damn it. I can't even find a chance go outside the mist' Soaked totally in blood. Regal is getting exhausted, While trying to catch his breath and shaking off fatigue he still fought fiercely. He have no choice do or die.
While Regal's slash forward at the exact moment a long thin hairy unidentified arm slashing towards his back. Regal saw it but it's too late to act.
Clenching his teeth bracing his self and planning this to use a momentum to get away.
Puack!
Scriaaaaaah! ScrEAAAaaaa! ScrEAAAaaaa
The incoming arm sway slightly which allowed Regal to dodge by a hair away just by standing.
'Whoa? What just happen?' Looking around I saw the twitching monster got hit by an arrow exactly at the one of it's eye.
"What are you doing here? Damn it!" I shouted while continued fighting.
"You're taking so long and I won't be strong by just running. Looks like you won't be in a good position alone anyway." Mingyun said while running backwards after shooting arrow.
"Hit their eyes. You're an AGI type they're clumsy you can kill it by targeting the eye. They have so many eyes so don't be stupid to not hit one. Cover my back!" Regal shouted while continue to fight.
More or less this became the scenario on the following minutes, Regal dodging by a hairline away, Minimizing the space he's traveling because he's so fatigue already. He already fought who knew how many but the number doesn't look like it will end. After one dies another one will just replace it. If it's not for their size Regal would have fought more than he's fighting at his current space.
'This isn't gonna work I'm to fatigue. Let me think of a plan.'
Scanning the surroundings I saw the mist not that far away and suddenly I thought of something. 'Since I know their pattern already this should work.'
"Mingyun, you shoot the next one I'm targeting at the eye. I'll trust you in this. After shooting you run for the mist don't look back and trust me." I shouted while getting ready.
Mingyun was about to say something but I didn't gave him time to do so. I attack the one in front of me and at my back is where the direction of the mist.
"Shoot now and run! I'll retreat too. Now!" I shouted while slashing towards the one in front of me. But I pulled the scythe immediately and jump upwards, this is the first time I did something this stupid.
Woooosh!
The arrow landed spot on and coincidentally this is the last arrow Mingyun can offer. The monster twitch and became enraged it punched towards me, I block it by putting the scythe in front of me around the chest area. And supported the back of the scythe with my other hand. When the punch landed on the scythe I felt the brunt of an impact like a wrecking ball.
I flew a good amount of distance midair but because of it I'm out of the encirclement, after recovering my footing I run straight to the mist. Since this move boosted me ignoring the pain I unsummoned the Scythe and continued to run.
Still I felt the wind behind me and still run zigzag, to dodge the things their throwing at me.
After 3 minutes of dashing like a dog I finally got out of the mist.
Whew.
Regal can't even spew curses catching his breath, after calming his breath I changed my blood soaked clothed.
"How did you get that many? That's a goddamn battalion" I asked him.
Mingyun scratches his head while explaining, I realized that for him what he sees inside are the same paradise he first saw. And according to him inside a cave he touch the wall of the cave, but clearly for me is a corpse which is a broken bones. Which cut a small wound on Mingyun's finger and apparently they're sensitive to blood he started fighting one but he saw a flock soon coming to him, while running it got many and many till that size.
"So you got lucky because they number in that many that they block each other. This mist has some secret. Let's rest first then let's formulate a plan."
Mingyun accepted the idea but got shocked at my second sentence.
"We're gonna go back?" Mingyun asked.
"Of course they give tons of exp! I leveled so much only killing a few. And also they give 10 points each. We can't let that pass. And you're here to train aren't you?" I spat while groaning like it's something obvious.
Mingyun was gonna retort back but scratch the back of his head before agreeing. He had no choice anyway. And Regal's right totally right.
"Do you use other weapon? I want to clear that monsters and also explore that place." I said stating my goal.
"Of course if you don't want to follow I won't force you just wait here if you want." I continued.
"I'll go, I want Experience too. And I'm also curious with that paradise, I can use dagger but it doesn't look like it's effective using on that monster." Mingyun said.
'Paradise huh. I don't know if that's really a paradise, I might be confused if those things didn't exist there. Probably the apocalyptic place that I saw is the true place. The paradise is a facade' But for now I didn't tell it to Mingyun to dampen his resolve.
"Let's recoup and this will be the plan use blade or sword for now, don't use short weapon you might screw up those thing has so many hands."
