Ch.2

They finished eating and were getting ready to leave.

"So Chang'er when is Lin Fu going to move into your condo?"

"I was thinking about buying a house."

"Really? That's great then! I hope soon I can hear some small feet running around. Aish! I'm already getting so old, all of my friends are boasting about their grandchildren and here I am still waiting. I'm so happy you finally decided to settle down."

Honestly Jiang Chang is someone who greatly values her personal space and the condo that she bought with her own hard earned money was something very important to her she was not willing to share. Since her father really didn't want Jiang Chang to get involved in the business, she started running an online clothing store after she graduated university. Ofcourse Jiang Dong wasn't aware of this. It was very difficult especially in such a competitive market. She saved up enough money to buy a nice condo in one of the best regions of the city. It represented her growth as well as being something she did on her own without relying on someone.

Now she has a steady income from her online store which managed to make a name for itself in the market as well as the shares from her father's company. Jiang Chang did not mind spending money on a house if that meant she could also enjoy her personal space at her condo.

"Of course Mr.Jiang."

Lin Fu replied politely as usual.

"On another note Chang'er let me drive you home. It's already so late, it's dangerous for a beautiful girl like you to be walking around alone at night."

The way he addressed her was so overwhelmingly sweet that it almost made Jiang Chang nauseous. She knew he wasn't truly like that. It's as if she could see right through him. The kind of person he is, the way Lin Fu actually felt.

Instead of focusing on that baseless negative she pushed it to the back of her mind. She was probably just way too paranoid and shouldn't think about her future husband like that. Lin Fu was probably being sincere and really worried about her. Jiang Chang felt so guilty because of her own thoughts.
