Chapter 4

Silvester Pov

"Alpha, it's time to leave, have you decided who you will take with us" my beta Xander asked me.

Though I don't have a family but Xander was always there, he is like my brother.

" Yes I have decided, let's meet Damien" I told my beta while reconsidering my choice.

Walking directly into his office I met with the same scent that is making me crazy and not letting me sleep.

"Alpha Silvester" He greets me and I just nodded.

"So you have decided " He asked me nervously afraid to loose a member from his pack.

I smirked, watching him nodding his head.

Amelia Pov

It is a bright morning with brids chirping and sun bright out. But still there is something that is making me nervous. I am feeling like something bad is going to happen. My heart beat is fast, my breathing is uneven. To calm myself I sent a little prayer to moon goddess.

Currently I am working in kitchen when suddenly  heard urgent steps coming my way.

" Guys, Alpha Damien is asking for everyone to gather on the meeting ground, now! " Angie yelled before going upstairs.

Everybody started leaving and since I am a human I didn't bother to go .

"Lia, included you" Angie shouted from the upstairs.

Something is wrong, this is the first time I have been invited for a pack meeting.

My hands started sweating and heartbeat started rising. I took every step with a greater difficulty. Yesterday, all night my cheek hurt a lot. The dark purple bruise was still there so I covered it with make up.

Once I arrived at the pack meeting I am welcomed by the soft dusky chocolaty scent that lingered around and I know who that belong to.

I looked around only to find his grey eyes staring deep into my soul that held a sort of resentment towards me. I know he hates me, in general all human but still it hurts me.

"Today, Alpha Silvester will select some females who will have their chances to become his mate , I request all  the unmated females to come on the left side" Alpha Damien announced taking a deep breath.

A sort of tension was lingering in the air.

All the unmated females started going towards left and formed the line.

"Hey, why are you standing there, come this side" Beta xander yelled at me.

Damien growled loudly showing his disagreement.

"She is a human and won't be a part of this" He yelled at the beta showing his dominance.

I was scared due to sudden change of events. This is something I had not expected to happen.

Rustling of leaves under the footsteps of Alpha Silvester had me trembling.

"Damien, I will not take any females from here" Alpha Silvester spoke slowly but suddenly his face changed into a smirk.

"But I will take her with me and make my slave" Alpha Silvester pointed towards me.

My breath stopped, disbelief was clear in my eyes. A tear unknowingly slipped out of my eyes. My voice got stuck in my throat.

"I will not let you take her away from me" Damien growled.

"Do you choose your pack or her, the choice is yours" Alpha Silvester spoke eyeing me.

Damien got silent for a minute and now I know what my fate is going to be.

I was numb, Damien was not able to meet my eyes. A sadness for there in the air.

Alpha Silvester gave me a hard stare before nodding at his beta.

"You have five minutes to pack your bags and come with me" He told me and left the place like nothing happened.

My heart was trembling with the thought what my future is going to be. He hates human, he hates me.
