The Palace

In the carriage, Rin's family were talking to each other. "Hey, Father? What will the princes be like?" asked Rin. "Yah, tell us Father" said Penny and Kai. "Well, the first prince is 16 years old, the same age as you, Penny. He is into horses like you. And doesn't really like to talk much. The second prince is 13 years old, like you, Kai. He is also interested in fighting and talks a LOT. Finally, we have the youngest prince who should be around your age Penny, maybe 1 year older. Anyways, I don't know much about him as he is never really there when I visit."

Penny and Kai talked to their father and mother about the princes while Rin looked outside, thinking about what to do. By the time, they reached the palace, Rin still had not thought on what to do. The children then, got off the carriage and looked around in amazement. The palace had multiple towers and on each of them, there was a flag of the country. The palace was also surrounded with a garden. The place walls go to multiple stories. Taking in the palace, Penny and Kai shouted in surprised, forgetting their manners. Rin, on the other hand, was too surprised to make a single sound.

Their parents had to nudge them several times to get their attention."Children, mind your manners " said their parents. "Yes....." said the children looking down. A butler soon came. " Good morning, please follow me to the throne room." he said as he walked away towards the throne room. The family soon followed behind. They went through many corridors and doors.

As they reached the throne room, they only saw the king on the throne. The father and Kai bowed down while Rin, Penny and their mother curtsied. They all said," Good afternoon to the king. Long Live the king." " You may all rise" boomed the king.
