What is his plan?
Xia Xi is still angry at him, but he's just sitting there relaxing with his coffee in his hand. The door flew open and his mom and her grandmother came in, along with Bai Zhi whose face was as dark as before.
"Please explain about what just happened." Her grandmother looked at Lei Kai Xuan in a serious face. "Yea, explained what happened," as his mom demanded. He puts down his coffee, "It's just like what you saw. I don't think there's a need for an explanation." Chairwoman Xia turned her face at Xia Xi. Xia Xi stiffened and didn't know how to explain to her grandmother because she just knew that she was engaged and pregnant too.
"Well,....." as Xia Xi tries to gather her words and put it together, everyone stares at her and even Lei Kai Xuan. He smirks at her and sees how she's going to explain this. <
"Why don't you ask her! She was the one that said she doesn't like Kai Xuan, but now they're engaged!" She said it in an angry tone while staring at her. "We're not even…" before Xia Xi could finish, Lei Kai Xuan jumped in and protected Xia Xi from behind. "What are you trying to do now? Stop fooling around and go back home. And before you leave please apologize." Lei Kai Xuan asked her as Xia Xi stayed behind him. "What if I don't apologize?" "Then don't expect me to talk to you ever again." Bai Zhi looks at Xia Xi angirly, "sorry" "That's good." She walks out the room and slams the door behind her.
"Sorry about that," as he apologized to chairwoman Xia and turned back at Xia Xi who's still covering her face. He slowly took her hand away and saw the red mark on her face. "Does it hurt?" as he gently touches it. Xia Xi stares at him confusingly. "Is this the Lei Kai Xuan I know?" as she wonders. "OUCH!" as Xia Xi screamed. "So it does hurt," as he said it while he ordered his assistant to get some ice. Xia Xi gave him a stare, "can you at least tell me what you're doing so I have an idea." "I did ask you, but you're the one that didn't answer."
"You still owe us an explanation," as his mom spoke up. "What explanation? Didn't I explain it clearly enough?" "So is she really pregnant?" as his mom asked. "Of course, you don't believe your own son, but believe your future daughter in-law." He said it so easily that it makes Xia Xi scared and nervous. She turns around and looks at Xia Xi smiling. Lei Kai Xuan took her hand, and Xia Xi could feel his grip on her hand. She smiles back at his mom, "Yes, it's true," as she tries to be happy about it. Her grandmother stares at her hardly after she says it.
"Why didn't you guys say this earlier?," as Lei's mother laughs happily after hearing the news. Xia Xi looks back at her grandmother who she knows is very angry right now. "It's not too late to know now right?" as Lei walks up to his mom and pats her shoulders. Chairwoman Xia couldn't stand this anymore and walked out the room angrily.
"Grandmother!" as Xia Xi called from behind and walked out after her.
"Grandmother! Please wait and listen." Her grandmother stopped and turned around to her. "What else do you have to explain? I'm already embarrassed enough." She swung Xia Xi's hand away and walked out the building. Xia Xi stood there and was not sure what to do. Lei Kai Xuan walked up to her and Xia Xi gave him a very unexpected look. "What are you trying to do now? Is this your good plan to fix this problem or was it just another plan to take some type of revenge." Xia Xi didn't have much energy left to argue with him and walked out the building. She didn't give Lei Kai Xuan to explain to her because she doesn't believe in this man anymore.
