snow snake's enemies...

"What!!"the emperor looked angered as li xia and the empress tried to calm him.

"Don't get angry your majesty,it is only a bird and we can just give her some other rare bird we have ''the empress was a bit happy that li xia didn't get the phoenix or disastrous things might happen.

"Your majesty,I am willing to accept any other bird as long as it is from you, your majesty"li xia looked a bit unhappy that the phoenix flew away before she could grasp its power but still she smiled to please the emperor.

The emperor calmed down and told one of his servants to bring one of his rare birds that he collected as the three guards were killed by his shadow guards.

"Here,a gift for your genius talent in cultivating"the emperor handed li xia a majestical yellow bird and a rare one indeed.

Li xia formed a contract with the bird and called it li from her family name but even if her parents died because of the emperor,she was still happy to live in luxury and wealth.

Meanwhile,Li Xiao,fatty and birdy, looked at the scenery from the tallest mountain in lou country as the wind breezed.

They already went out of the death forest and had yet to sell some more gems to the auction.

"Wow! I have seen sceneries like this but never in my life have I seen it more natural nor beautiful"li xiao looked happy to feel the windy breeze but then birdy spoked up.

"We are here to cultivate remembered and not to enjoy the sceneries"fatty looked at birdy with an expressionless face.

"Then why are we here old geezer"birdy locked eyes with fatty and begane cursing inside her mind.

"Jeez youngsters these days,during my time,this was a place of bloodshed and as one year passes,an event will occur"fatty looked at birdy in disgust as if already knowing those facts.

Fatty and birdy also cultivated after setting an invisible barrier to protect them from danger.

One month before their goal,snow suddenly fell upon the world and has been till one month after.li xiao awakened by the snow,started to smile.

"Haven't seen the first snow since forever"li xiao brushed her clothes and began to pour hot tea she made for her friends and herself.

"We should go hunting first"li xiao was starving for meat and even though cultivators don't get that hungry,she wanted to eat no matter what since she was a foodie in her past life.

Li Xiao,fatty and birdy, decided to hunt and maybe train their skills.They looked in every cave and yet could not find any beasts.

After a search,they finally found a snow snake cave.

"These idiots must be ice elements since they dare come here in a winter time"the snow snake presumed as a lot of his meals were humans with ice elements seeking to either tame some snow snakes or cultivate on this mountain.

"Hmmm,we should be using fire for this like maybe something hotter"li xiao looked at fatty and they both grinned.Looking at birdy like she knows what they mean.

"Fine... it's not like someone has fire breath or fire elements inside their core"birdy glared and begane to burn the snow snake alive even before the snow snake could make its appearance.

"We should really be calling animal abuse.."Fatty looked at the snake as it was still burning.The snow snake trembled as it recognized the bird to be a phoenix,every snow snake's enemy.

Birdy looked down on the snow snake and with a swoosh,the fire became hotter and eventually stopped after sensing no life form inside the target.

Fatty looked at Li xiao and thought to himself as lucky to be able to be this woman's friend rather than an enemy.

After the snack break,they went down hill where an event was happening nearby.

"Let's watch the event first,this might be a once in a life's opportunity to watch,"a young woman said to her friends.

"It is a once in a lifetime opportunity,it's actually a peace party"another woman said.

"Tomorrow is the actual peace testimony since there will be a ceremony at the palace"the first woman said again.With ears out,Li xiao and her friends looked excited to watch the event as well.

"Welp,this won't take long"Fatty said through her mind.Li xiao sighed and just hoped it wasn't a boring event like dancing with a partner or something.

Suddenly the crowd went silent as the emperor rose up and greeted the Mo princes.Prince chu and prince lu also greeted the emperor before sitting down at their respectful place.
