At the time,the kid never showed up to their home while Su xi smiled that whole year as he finally had his wife for himself.

A year passed by and the ceremony was due in one week.Everyone was invited to watch the ceremony as it was a ceremony to celebrate the new coming emperor so a lot of the streets were decorated early for preparations.

The royal dressmaker,hair stylist,baker and more were the busiest as they had to prepare for Lou mon, li xia and wan wan's clothes and supplies for their marriage.

The first marriage would be held after lou mon becomes the emperor and the second wedding would be held in the afternoon with night being a celebration for the weddings before ending it with the emperor and empress's first night together.

Li xia looked at the mirror as she tried on many dresses which suited her well while wan wan in the other room picked a simple dress to match up her innocent look.

The words of the ceremony were heard from every country which ever existed and soon enough reached Li Xiao's ears.

"Wow i can't miss that"Li xiao exaggerated while Su xi's eyes sparkled.

"If we ever have a wedding,you need to make it more grand"He looked at li xiao with a face of an innocent beauty which can't be resisted. 

"If"fatty murmured as he glared at Su xi who dared to think high of himself.

Li xiao only chuckled as she packed the house away and carried a bag of important emergencies inside.

"Well then,let's invite ourselves in, shall we?"Li xiao grabbed Su xi's hand out of habit and started walking towards the Lou country while fatty and birdy turned to their human form first and then proceeded to walk alongside their master.

On the way,Li xiao found a white egg which quite resembled Su xi and brought it with her without anyone knowing.

"Turning into a human isn't that bad after all"Birdy exclaimed as they reached Mo country an hour later.

"You say that again"Fatty shivered as he walked along the icy path missing his scaly body.

"This place became colder than usual,"Li xiao murmured as she slowed her steps.

"On your guards"She said as she prepared her lightning attribute while Su xi,birdy and fatty prepared their fire attribute,melting the snow below them.

At the corner,a snake appeared but it wasn't a snow snake since snow snake's are large creatures but it was a poiz white snake.

A snake that small yet so dangerous as it's poison can inflict a lot of damage to one's veins and can decrease a huge amount of ranks even a heavenly immortal like Li xiao, fatty and birdy had to be wary of such a creature.It's icy moves are flexible enough for it to be called an assassin.

The snake slithered toward them before stopping in front of Li xiao.

"I choose you"It said as Li xiao looked dumbfounded by the sudden talk.

"Why?"she asked, not believing a word the snake said.

"Because i…"The snake paused for a second before it continued.

"I'm lonely"it wailed as they all listened to the snake's story afterwards.

"So the reason you're here is to find a person to make a contract with just because your lonely"Fatty repeated those words over and over before tearing at how similar their life was.

"So can i?"The snake asked as it looked at Li xiao with hopes in his eyes.

"Well only if you kill that deer over there,then you can,"Li Xiao pointed at an immortal knight rank 4 deer and asked him to show his talent.

While the snake was busy killing the deer,Li xiao took the time to give Su xi the egg she found.

"Here,you can hatch this egg and it can be your friend".Su xi's eyes shone brighter as he imagined that this was his betrothed gift from her and immediately accepted it  and kept it safe at all cost.

"Master here!"The snake dragged the deer back with its tail.

"Hmm, okay"Li xiao looked at the delicious deer meat before she began to poke her finger until blood spilled out.After that, they formed a contract.

"Well that's done"Li xiao stood up as Su xi bandaged the finger with cloth.The snake had then risen its rank from immortal knight to immortal general.

"Master,i'll make you proud one day by making it up to master's level"The snake now named poiz looked up to his new master before he went to the cultivation space so that no one could see him.

Days passed and the gang had finally made it to Lou country after walking for 6 days since they had to stop by an inn for most of the night just because fatty didn't want to skip his sleep schedule.

By those days, the streets became more colourful than the previous days since the ceremony was near to tomorrow and all the citizens had closed their shops just for that day.

"Well let's go to the death forest and set our house there and maybe wait for tomorrow"Li Xiao spoked up as they wandered the colourful street with amazement.

Birdy agreed as it was safer to set their turf first before they wander again.

Looking at the path,Li xiao smiled as it was still the same as usual and before long, they were already at the center of the forest.

"Let's set the house here and train before anything happens in the coming event tomorrow"Li Xiao said as she and Birdy started to fight in a combat while Poiz was cultivating.

Su xi watched Li Xiao and her moves as fatty prepared their lunch.

The day after,the trumpet was heard as it was a sign that the ceremony was going to begin very shortly.

"Li xia just hook my hand the entire time and look at me in the eyes if you're nervous"Lou mon smiled as he stroked Li xia's cheeks.

"Okay my king"Li xia smiled as she joked a little before going out with Lou mon to begin the ceremony.
