Chapter Forty-Eight

Time passed and the Old Cultivator came in and paid me for his game time and snacks.
From just a single customer I could earn 13 E Crystals.
I earned 5 E Crystals from the Ice Cream and another E Crystal from just a single bottle of Rejuvenating Spring Water while also earning another 7 E Crystals from both the Activation of a game and the 6 hours of game time that got me an E Crystal.
Man, I seriously need more customers, otherwise, it will take ages just to complete the Earn E Crystals Task...
And as if God answered my prayers a woman stepped into the cafe.

[A/N: Trying the third person for a change, I only used to 1st person writing, time to expand my horizons!]
"Excuse me, what is this place?" the woman asked Damian(The MC)
"This is my cafe, where one can play games, eat snacks and redeem rewards," Damian informed her with a smile
"Games?" the woman asked confused while looking around the store.
Damian nodded and pointed over to the Old Cultivator who was playing Minecraft.
"What is he wearing?" the woman asked Damian.
"He is wearing a VR Helmet that would allow him to completely experience Virtual Reality," Damian informed her.
"What is this...Virtual Reality that you speak of?" the woman asked.
"You can think of Virtual Reality as entire worlds created through human-hands," Damian informed her after a few moments of thought.
"What?! How is this possible?!" the woman asked shocked.
"Through the use of technology, many things become possible," Damian informed her.
The woman looked at Damian with a confused expression before asking "How much do I need to pay to play these...games?"
"If you wish to play the full time a customer can get then you must pay 7 E Crystals, but if you want to play only for an hour then you need to pay 2 E Crystals," Damian told her.
"What?! An E Crystal just to play for an hour?!" she asked shocked.
"That's right," Damian informed her while smiling.
The woman frowned and looked at Damian angrily before giving him two E Crystals.
"If it doesn't meet my standards then you shall feel my wrath!" she warned.
Damian just shrugged and smiled.
The woman walked over to an unoccupied computer and sat down.
She soon, with Damian's help, created an account and got onto Minecraft.
She named her account "The Black Owl".
"So what's your name?" Damian asked.
"Trudy, and yours?" the woman introduced herself.
"Damian, but you can call me Boss, have fun and enjoy yourself if you need anything I will be at my computer," Damian told her before walking away.
"Alright," the woman responded before putting on the Vr Helmet after a moment of hesitation.
She opened Minecraft and created a new world.
Trudy gasped as her vision changed from sitting in the chair looking at the computer to standing in an open field surrounded by a forest.
"H-How is this possible?!" she shouted in surprise.
"Please quiet down, as I have said before technology makes many things possible, including the very world you are in now," Damian's voice entered the women's ears.
"Where are you? How can I hear you?" Trudy asked while looking around the field.
"You are still sitting in the cafe which is why you can still hear me," Damian explained.
"So I am both in this...game and sitting in the cafe?" Trudy asked.
"That's right," Damian confirmed.
'He says this is done through technology...does he mean the artifacts from before the great war?' Trudy asked herself.
"Is this...technology from before the great war against the Scourge?" Trudy asked Damian.
"You could say so," Damian told her without going into detail.
