Acnologia recognizes Shun as a Threat

So… he did the only thing he could have done at that time. He took a deep breath in and shouted, "Secret Art: Azure Dragon's Raging Blast!"

A concentrated ball of Azure Fire was formed over his head which clashed against the Acnologia's Roar. The clash of these intense energies shook the land, the sea around them.

Wilson quickly flew up in the sky. He knew that he had to get out of the way before Shun could dodge it.

He was now flying in the sky with his wings.

Shun sensed that Wilson had gotten out of the way and relaxed his body a little. He released a tremendous amount of energy and slowly backed away to create some distance between him and that terrifying roar.

After that, he stopped trying to use his attack to make it clash against the mighty roar and got out of the way by going left.

He released a lot of Fire under his feet to let him keep flying with a constant speed. Acnologia's Roar continued to go forward and struck the island.

The whole island was immediately destroyed and started sinking.

Right as Acnologia finished with his roar, he was struck with a sharp blow to his chest yet he barely moved from his position. It was like nothing had happened.

Shun struck him again, but the same happened.

Acnologia seemed amused at how this human seemed to think that these light taps would be able to hurt him.

Acnologia brought his hands forward to grab Shun, but Shun was quick to getaway. He struck Acnologia's arm, next to his legs. However, all these attacks barely had any effect.

At this time, Acnologia finally opened his mouth and spoke, "How pathetic…"

"True enough. I didn't even think I would be so pathetic. 2 Times isn't enough." The aura around his body tripled in quantity and density as he whispered, "6 times."

His speed which was already very quick got even faster. In just a minute, he had hit Acnologia 4 times.

But even this wasn't enough. Acnologia opened its mouth as it did acknowledge Shun, "Amplifying your power wouldn't work. You will remain trash in my eyes."

Strangely enough, Shun acknowledged it and replied back, "That's true. You have been alive for 400 years, after all. If this was enough to bring you down, then you wouldn't be Acnologia, the terror of Dragons."

"Do you think of yourself as smart? You think by making me waste time here, it would give that Sky Dragon more time to escape?"

Shun didn't say anything. He neither affirmed, nor did he say anything back. It was alright to let Acnologia have his own thoughts.

"Even if she makes a getaway, for now, I will still catch her later. I do remember the direction in which she went."

To this, Shun refused to say anything and suddenly opened his palm as he shouted, "Secret Art: Azure Flame Exploding Lotus."

He didn't make just one as he had done against Zagnivol. He made three of these Lotuses. He threw them at Acnologia.

Acnologia could feel that even he would be hurt if he tried to swallow these flames.

It was the same feeling he had when he had fought against that irritating Fire Dragon. What was his name again? Ah right… The proud king of the Fire Dragons, Igneel.

These flames were also powerful but just to make a point, Acnologia didn't dodge them. He remained stood and let these three Exploding Lotus hit himself and show the difference between the two of them.

As the Azure Flames covered his body, he let out a huge laugh as if this attempt to damage him was really childish and naive.

At this moment, he heard three loud explosions consecutively and thought in his head 'He is attacking something? And his target is not me? Why? These flames are being rather annoying by blocking my vision and my senses from knowing what is happening.'

Acnologia had no idea that Shun was destroying the Islands around them. By around 30 seconds, the time it took for the Azure Flames to disperse, the islands around them have disappeared from the face of Earthland.

As far as Shun could sense, there was no lifeform present on those islands.

However, even if it were, considering the choices he had, he would have struck down the islands all the same with that same indifferent expression.

As of now, they were flying above an Ocean which carried the debris of the destroyed Islands.

The explosions around had completely spread Azure Flame's aura in the surroundings. It was to the point that Grandeeny's Draconic Aura was completely covered even from Acnologia's senses.

And in this vast sea, even if Acnologia had a great sense of direction, he would never be able to remember the direction in which Grandeeney flew away.

Grandeeney was bound to notice these explosions and would definitely cover her tracks up more intelligently.

Shun was mostly sure that as long as Grandeeney didn't make any conspicuous moves, she would be safe from Acnologia's clutches.

As the Azure Flames around Acnologia dispersed, he looked around and immediately noticed the situation.

However, due to his Dragon's form, it was hard to gauge his reaction.

"Damn… You can really hold off your resentment. You should at least show me that you are angry."

"I carelessly said something before, and you already dealt with it. I shall admit that I do recognize you as a threat now."

"I feel like I have won the fight but lost the war. Any chance you would underestimate me? You know I will be grateful to you. Maybe even pray that your soul will find peace when you rest in the afterlife."

"...You have some great nerves to joke in front of me, Acnologia, the Apocalypse Dragon."

"From the words of Zeref, you were just a Dragon who had given in to his beastial instincts. I guess that's not quite true, is it? You also have your own motivation to act."

"You know the Black Wizard!?" This did bring out a massive reaction from Acnologia.

Immediately, he took a deep breath in and attacked him with a Roar.

The attack from Acnologia was well within Shun's expectation as he dodged it with his quick movement.

But he failed to imagine why Zeref would be on Acnologia's hit list.

It seems there was really an exciting story between the two of them.
