Chapter eighty-seven: Her boyfriend

I stirred in my sleep when I felt the side of my bed dip due to someone who sat on it. I smelled a familiar scent of cologne before I felt someone kiss me on the forehead.

"Hmm..." I wanted to open my eyes, but I can still feel my body soar from yesterday's activities.

"Good morning, beautiful." That, someone, whispered in my ear and I smiled.

If only New York was just a few minutes of drive to San Francisco, I'd think that someone is David. But I know it's not, so I'd just push that thought behind my mind and turn back to sleep. We just had a short conversation yesterday and he didn't tell me anything about it.
