Chapter 9: Transfer Student Takastuki-kun! Everyone No Bullying!

4 years pass by in a blink of an eye, Chika, Kazu and I are now in 5th grade. There are so many things that have happened and as I grade up each year, I can feel that my classmates always try to accommodate me though I don't mind it but doing so made me feel a bit like how I am always treated at home. You know, always being doted on for everything that I may need and want, I was actually hoping that they would treat me as equal but after the incident since 1st grade things have been this way and since everyone is happy I just let them do as they want.

So yeah, that's how my life has been these passing years and now I am a 5th grader. I thought that it will be the same like every other day but this time it is different.

The teacher came in with an unfamiliar kid on tow. He looks like the type that easily pick on fights and is hotheaded, somewhat like Chika but more on the headstrong attitude since these pass years Chika has been more calm than before though there are times where he barks at anyone who tries to "BOTHER" me but other than that he is very much quiet. Well I guess that is the fruit of his training with Rin-ji and Laire-nee. Anyway he introduces himself and just as I speculate, he really made an impression to himself.

"My name is Takastuki Wataru and I'm AWESOME so you guys better follow me!" (Wataru)

[Wow~ what an awesome introduction, I wish I was like him back in the 1st grade when I made my introduction… maybe I could have made an impact as well…]

I looked at my classmates and I can see that they are captured by him. Well there is nothing I can do, this is the difference in charisma I suppose.

After that class resumes and so far it was quite peaceful until lunch break came. Since Takatsuki-kun is new, he didn't pay for lunch and he need to pay if he wants to have any but he then refuse to give and said that he doesn't have any money and will not give even if he has so he then resorted to other means. He went to a classmate of ours to ask some money and sadly that person is me.

"Hey give me some money, you look like you have plenty of them.." (Wataru)

"….." (Sei)

[So this is what is like to be extorted by a bully… Never have thought this will happened to me ever in my life]

Well as a quiet person as I am, I didn't respond to him or rather I don't even know what is the appropriate approach in this situation but my loyal friends do. First is Chika, as usual he exploded when he sees what is happening to me, typical response from him. Second is Kazu, who seems to be holding his composure from breaking, well this is the second time I saw him like this so this is really rare.

"HOW DARE YOU!! HOW DARE YOU ASK MONEY FROM SEI-SAMA!!" (Chika)

"Now, now, Chika this little "SQUIRT" is new and he DOESN'T know anything so calm down for a bit… and as for you "SQUIRT" we need to have a little TALK about manners that needs to be followed inside the room" (Kazu)

[Wow… I can totally feel Kazu's wrath, better take note not to make him angry at all cost]

"W-What the heck is wrong with you two?! I'm not asking you guys but him! So bug off!" (Wataru)

*SNAP*

[Oops, Kazu snap better handle this before it gets out of hand]

"Kazu… Chika…" (Sei)

"Sei-sama/-chan" (Chika/Kazu)

I look at both of them and they somehow understood what I want so they quieted down. Then I went to the one collecting lunch money and gave some for his share. I know that this isn't the right thing to do but for now I think this is the best choice, let just not accommodate him later on. So after I pay for his share, I walk in front of him and said…

"Just today… No more next time…" (Sei)

After saying what I want to convey, I went back to my seat and tried to ignore everything.

[That is so embarrassing~ what am I acting cool for?! Ugh! I don't wanna face them right now…]

The room is quiet after some time but soon returned to normal and Takastuki-kun also has his lunch. The rest of the day is just as usual, nothing much happened other than both Chika and Kazu were a bit protective and they didn't even let Takastuki-kun be in my line of vision. Well I know that my friends mean no hard so I just let them do what they want.

After the day ended, Takatsuki-kun is called by the teacher and I think they just informed him about the policies and regulations in the school as well as the one concerning lunches and stuff like that.

The following days, Takatsuki-kun is rather quiet… well compared with his usual chatter mouth introduction, he is awfully quiet and he seems to always try to talk to me but sadly he cannot penetrate the wall of my loyal friends. These happened for two weeks or so I think, I don't really count so let's assume it is like that. Well that is until Takastuki-kun exploded…

"The HECK with the two of you?! Can you move aside, I have something to say to THAT guy." (Wataru)

"Heh~ "YOU" want to talk to Sei-sama? Under what qualifications do you have?!" (Chika)

"Now, now, Chika… this "SQUIRT" doesn't know a thing so take it easy… unruly people are always the ones with no manner" (Kazu)

[Wuah~ both of them are burning today, I guess they are really holding it in… well let's see what he needs from me and if everything goes south then I'll intervene like usual]

With the words that Chika and Kazu let out, Takastuki-kun felt embarrassed and become more unreasonable. Making our classmates look at him in a negative manner, I can hear their whispers and thus making Takasuki-kun more wronged and embarrassed. I can already see this going south so I decided to do something before everything goes wrong for Takastuki-kun and besides he just transferred here, better not let him scar his elementary days.

"Chika… Kazu… pas d'intimidation" (Sei)

(pas d'intimidation = no bullying)

"Mais Sei-sama/-chan" (Chika/Kazu)

(Mais = but)

"Pas de mais qui est final, understood Chika… Kazu…" (Sei)

(Pas de mais qui est final = no buts that is final)

"Yes Sei-sama" (Chika)

"If Sei-chan said so… tsk too bad though…" (Kazu)

"Kazu… Sorry" (Sei)

"It's okay Sei-chan, as long as you're okay with this…" (Kazu)

I'm glad that Kazu is very understanding and also I am so happy that all those French lesson from mama pay off. I better tell mama about it later. Well Kazu is already okay but the problem is Chika, though he is abiding with my wish I can clearly see the lines on his forehead. Sigh, he is still tick off… but he needs to suck it up, because I will not change my mind.

Well leaving aside the grumpy Chika, I went in front of Takasuki-kun and look at him, waiting for him to say something. Time goes by and it is almost half an hour and yet he still not saying anything. Quite honestly, he is now getting on my nerves a bit but I try to remain clam since I am older than them, mentally that is. So when I thought that he will not say anything, I try to walk away but that is when he spoke up.

"U-Um, here you go…" (Wataru)

"….. money?" (Sei)

[What is this money for? Hey hey… this looks like I am the one extorting you now?!]

I am a bit flustered about the money but before I could react to it, Takastuki-kun said something again.

"Payment… for lunch last time… Sorry about my attitude…" (Wataru)

Well I am quite shock right now but I am also happy, since I misjudge Takastuki-kun. He is a nice boy after all. And as I can see I am not the only one who sees that now. Well I hope that everyone in class will get along better than before after this ordeal.

"Thank you Takastuki-kun… and everyone, NO BULLYING" (Sei)
