THOUGHTS

"Let's hurry it up" said Coach Michael.

"Sure" replied Jeffrey.

We all entered the training room and started with our normal exercise which we use to warm up, while watching Jeffrey who was being led by Coach Michael.

"Alright, let's check your standard" said Coach Michael.

"How do we do that?" asked Jeffrey.

"It's alright we can just use the same test we used for your friends, you have two options to choose from The first one is Grey's and Enri's test, it's an ok test. As for the second option we have Hyla's test my favorite test of all times, you love it" said Coach Michael in a luring manner.

"I'll take Hyla's test, I figure it's the easier test" answered Jeffrey smiling.

"ohh… You, stupid stupid boy" said Grey laughing uncontrollably.

"You just had to pick the hardest test possible" chimed Enri, "I would wish you the best but it seems like that's not going to help" he said as he picked up the dumb bells by his side.

"What?!" screamed Jeffrey.

I just quietly slipped somewhere else feeling sorry for Jeffrey, plus I still needed to think about a couple of things.

"Just start off with a thousand jumping jacks, two hundred squats, cycle for ten kilometers and some weight lifting" said Coach Michael, "Oh, since you're a friend of my boys I'll increase your break instead of a five-minute interval, I'll give you a ten-minute interval" he said smiling.

Jeffrey just stood rooted to that floor with his mouth wide open as he looked around the room, as for luck it definitely wasn't on his side since the female swim team suddenly arrived and ended up having the chance to watch a splendiferous show.

As for me I was on the 3rd floor which housed the Basketball court which was used for a variety of sports from Volley ball to hand ball. I walked absent mindedly onto the court lost in thoughts about what I was going to do.

Casually picking up a basketball by the side, I mimicked the dribbling moves which I saw on Tv before shooting and hitting a sweet 3 pointer effortlessly.

I continued with this strange behavior over and over again I kept shooting hoops not missing a single shot.

Unknown to me the Basketball Coach was watching me sink every single shot effortlessly, as I repeated the same movements over and over again I had unconsciously started correcting the minor bad movements which I had when shooting slowly perfecting my stance from how I handled the ball to when I jumped and even when I shot the ball.

"I can see why Michael says you're extraordinary" said Coach Henry the basketball team coach as he approached me.

Snapping out from my daze I found that I had worked up quite a sweat when shooting hoops, to see Coach Henry who had appeared behind me like ghost.

"Hi Coach Henry" I said as I noticed the well-built man, although Coach Henry was just past Forty he had a solid build and a beautiful beard if I may say so, I still don't know how he was able to grow such a beard, although we were indoors he still put on a face cap and his whistle around his neck and he sported his usual Joggers pants and a sweat shirt but today it was kind of weird since he wore a Pink sweat shirt instead of the gray, blue or yellow one.

"Hello, I can see you're working hard" he said as he picked up a basketball next to me.

"I though the Basketball team wasn't having any training today?" I asked.

"You're right but the thing is that I'm the Coach so there's lots of things I need to take care of behind the scenes" replied Coach Henry.

"I understand" I hurriedly said laughing.

"It's nothing, you are quite talented" said Coach Henry, "Have you ever thought about joining the Basketball team?" asked Coach Henry.

Picking up another basketball I answered "Honestly, I never thought I would even workout throughout my time in the university but I ended up doing more than that, so I have not thought about doing anything else" I said smiling as I made another beautiful shot.

"I kind of understand you, which is why I'm going to tell you this since you might figure it out on your own but at that time you would have lost too much time" said Coach Henry as he looked at the file in his hand before saying;

"You only live once so what's the use in not taking risks".

I wanted to make another hot but the moment I heard his words it felt as if my entire being was frozen solid and I suddenly found myself lost in thoughts.

Thinking about it they were a lot of things which I would have never done if Blue had not taken me as his host, I'm pretty sure I would not have made so many acquaintances and friends if not for Blue pushing me to work out which helped me spend more time with lots of people and my current state was way better and I even had to admit that I was starting to like exercising, all of this was possible because of the risks I took. So, why was I now afraid of taking risks?

"It seems like I haven't really thought about that" I said.

"It's alright, just take a leap of faith once in a while and see where it takes you" said Coach Henry as he left.
