BROKEN CRYSTALS

I walked towards the middle-aged man who had replaced the crystal quickly as he cleaned up the table upon which the new crystal was placed. When picking up the crystal he covered it in a simple cloth.

"Come on, hurry up so you can go find a suitable cultivation technique" he said with a warm smile. "Just place your hand on the crystal and it will do the rest of the work" he added thinking I was worried.

I was busy wondering how the crystal worked that was why I walked slowly but I was not scared of anything going wrong plus I was more interested in seeing the kind of phenomenon that would happen when I placed my hand on the crystal.

I calmly placed my hand on the crystal as I stood in front of the table.

1 second, 2… 3… 4… 5… 6 seconds and still no reaction from the crystal, it was still as clear as it was before I placed my hand on it.
