The darkness which I did not recognize was the very same darkness that had left West wind trapped and at his wits end when Varro finally took him seriously.

With my enhanced vision I could not even see anything past my own nose, I had to employ the Sparrow skill just so I could see. The sparrow skill which usually worked wonders was heavily restrained in the darkness.

Varro and I both used Star Energy to fight but his control and mastery of Star energy was levels above mine, he was like a grandmaster and I was merely an apprentice, there was no way I could overwhelm his control of his domain.
