Hicksbess sits in shock of all that has happened in his dream. Unable to move thinking about all that has just happened

(Hicksbess)

"Was that really a dream? It felt far to real. No way, all that training from yesterday must've gotten to me"

As Hicksbess gets out of bed he does his normal routine of rinsing his hair and using a makeshift toothbrush.

(Random Voice)

"HEY!!!"

Hicksbess hears whilst putting on his uniform. He quickly finishes up to see who is outside causing such a ruckus.

(Hicksbess)

"Who is it? I'm in the middle of something you ass hat"

A blue haired boy approaches Hicksbess alongside with 4 other disciple followers. Hicksbess stands shocked seeing the boys blue hair.

(Random Boy)

"You dare act so smug in front of your Senior Brother!"

(Hicksbess)

"My apologies, Senior Brother Zhuang Zhou. I didn't know it was you!"

Hicksbess bows worried of what the consequences of calling him an asshat will be. Zhuang Zhou is know in the Pavilion as a young genius since he is at Qi-Gathering Layer 8 at the age of 14, while most are around Qi-Gathering Layer 4-6.

(Zhuang Zhou)

"I will let this slide this once, but if you insult me again the consequences will be worse. And please don't be so formal just call me Senior Brother Zhou."

(Hicksbess)

"I'm sorry Senior Brother Zhou, what brings you to my home today?"

(Zhuang Zhou)

"Well I am pretty bored and I am running low on spirit coins so I want to challenge you to a battle"

In this world on cultivation spirit coins are the currency in all Sects and Pavilions. One spirit coin is worth 10 gold coins, 1 gold coin is worth 10 silver. Sects and Pavilions only use spirit coins. Disciples gain spirit coins by completing missions or beating others in duels. If you lose a duel you will have to give up 5 spirit coins.

(Hicksbess)

*Crap, a duel with one of the geniuses of our generation. I only have 3 spirit coins and being the weakest disciple doesn't do anything for me*

Hicksbess gets out of his bowing position with a concerned look on his face

(Hicksbess)

*I know I am weaker than him but I just can't backdown from a challenge, I guess I will just...*

Hicksbess smiles and looks Senior Brother Zhou in the eyes with confidence

(Zhuang Zhou)

"So you accept?"

(Hicksbess)

"I accept this Senior Brother's challenge, but this battle will be rather short since I am up against the Zhou family's genius"

(Zhuang Zhou)

"That's okay I'm short on time and I want to get those spirit coins as fast as I can"

One of Zhuang Zhou's followers steps in between them

(Zhuang Zhou's follower)

"I am brother Ge Hong and I will be the overseer of this match"

Hicksbess and Zhuang Zhou get up face to face then take 5 steps back. They both get into a fighting position observing each other.

(Ge Hong)

"3...2...1... Start!"

Hicksbess and Zhuang Zhou stare at each other for a moment then suddenly Zhuang Zhou dashes towards Hicksbess and tries to kick him. Hicksbess is shocked but dodged him easily

(Hicksbess)

*What the? Was Brother Zhou always this slow? I fought him a few weeks ago and he was way faster than this*

Zhuang Zhou stands shocked but cannot reveal it. Hicksbess managed to dodge an attack from someone who should be many times stronger than him.

(Zhuang Zhou)

*What?!? There's no way he should've been able to dodge that! I put my all into that kick and he dodged it so easily! No way it must've been luck! Yeah, Pure Luck!*

Zhuang Zhou regains his confidence and stands firm while staring at Hicksbess

(Zhuang Zhou)

"That was quite impressive brother HICKS"

(Hicksbess)

"Hicks? Hm I like that. From now on call this brother, Brother Hicks. And please don't flatter me it must've been luck"

Zhuang Zhou gets back into a fighting position and once again dashes towards Hicks. Instead of a kick Zhuang Zhou throws a volley of punches at Hicks. Hicks prepares himself and dodged most of the punches and blocking the rest

(Zhuang Zhou)

*What the hell!!! I threw so many punches at him and he dodged them and blocked them!!*

Zhuang Zhou looks down at his fists and notices his hands have turned slightly red

(Zhuang Zhou)

*Now way some of the punches he blocked but me!!!! This little poser managed to hurt me without even attacking!!!*

Zhuang Zhou looks at Hicks with anger in his eyes and recklessly charges at Hicks.

(Hicks)

*Hmm, so after all that you just decide to leave yourself open. I guess it's time to end this*

By the time Zhuang Zhou makes it halfway to Hicks, in a flash Hicks disappears. Zhuang blinded by his rage suddenly stops. Shocked he realizes Hicks is in front of him. Zhuang feels a sharp pain in his stomach and looks down. Hicks' fist jammed into Zhuang Zhou's stomach

(Zhuang Zhou)

"No way"

It all happened so fast that Zhuang Zhou had just realized he was in a large amount of pain. And from that pain and the shock on Hicks new strength he passes out.

Zhuang Zhou's followers come to assist Zhuang Zhou and pick him up. One of his followers puts his hands in a bag and throws five spirit coins on the floor for Hicks then run away.

(Another one of Zhuang Zhou's followers)

"We'll get you for this you poser!"

(Hicks)

"Poser, huh"

He says while picking at his red hair

Hicks picks up the coins in triumph of his first victory in his 4 years of being in the Moonlight Dust Pavilion

(Hicks)

*I was never this strong! To beat Zhuang Zhou in one punch. Ever since that dream... it wasn't a dream*

Hicks notices a little light coming from his face

He goes to a little well and gets a bucket of water he looks in the reflection of the water and sees a glowing horizontal line in the middle of his forehead

(Hicks)

"So the voice really did promise to make me powerful. AWESOME!!!"
