Today, like any other day, was the same for Yamakawa Shou.
He would wake up, get dressed for school and have breakfast. After breakfast was done, he would then be driven to school.
Once school was over and Shou arrived home. He would then do his homework. Once that was finished, he would then get ready for training.
At this time Shou had seven different masters.
Shou's first master was the one that had been teaching him Krav Maga, Yosef Ehrenfeld. He was seventy two years old, but still had a strong muscular build for his age. Yosef had a calm personality and he never seemed to get stressed over anything. Whenever he was teaching Shou anything, he would calmly explain every move in detail. This made it easier for Shou to learn under his guidance.
Shou's second master was the one teaching him Muay Thai, his name was Wasi Onruang. Wasi was the youngest master teaching Shou martial arts. He was thirty eight years old. This teacher of his was very demanding and expected nothing but perfection, when it came to Shou learning from him.
Wasi was also a hero during his younger years. Back then he was ranked number one in the hero billboard chart Thailand for seven years straight, before he retired.
When Shou trained under Wasi for the first time. He finally understood what Kei meant, when he mentioned Endeavors training methods.
Shou's third master was a Kung Fu master by the name of Su Jiao. Unlike the rest of Shou's masters, Su Jiao was never a hero. She was however someone who had taught a few heroes back in China. There were a few which had even reached the top ten in the hero billboard China.
When Shou's parents were looking for someone to teach Shou martial arts. Su Jiao was one of the first people they had asked. However she had refused.
The reason for refusing to teach Shou, was that she had just retired from teaching others and did not want to come out of retirement. That was until her old friend Yosef had told her about Shou's talent.
When she heard from Yosef of how talented Shou was, she quickly booked the first flight to Japan. If she missed such an opportunity to train a person that even Yosef called a prodigy again. She would probably die of regret for not having accepted the first time around.
The fourth master Shou was training under was a master of karate. His name was Onaga Hideo and was fifty one years old. Hideo was a man of few words. Besides the times he was explaining techniques to Shou, he would rarely say anything.
The fifth master, was a Master of Sambo. His name was Mikhail Solovev and he was fifty five years old.
Just like Shou's Muay Thai teacher Wasi, Mikhail was also someone strict that demanded perfection. When Mikhail and Wasi met, the first thing they did was have a drink together, while thinking up training methods for Shou.
The two had gotten along so well, that one might think they were long lost brothers.
The sixth master Shou had was a master of Ninjutsu. His name was Shimada Yuichi and he was sixty years old. When it came to training Shou, Yuichi never went easy on him.
Yuichi always had one rule Shou had to follow and that was to focus. If Yuichi ever saw Shou's attention wonder off, he would make Shou run around the mansion ten times with weights strapped around his body.
Yuichi had no children in this life of his. To him, the biggest regret was him not being able to have a child to succeed him. So when Yosef called him about Shou, he knew this was his chance to pass on his teachings of Ninjutsu to someone worthy to inherit.
As for Shou's seventh and final teacher. She was a weapons specialist from England. Her name was Linda Prinston and she was forty one years old. Linda has a straight forward personality and always says what is on her mind.
When it came to teaching Shou how to master different weapons. Linda would always point out Shou's mistakes. Whenever Shou was given a task, such as shooting an arrow and hitting a bullseye ten times. Whenever he missed the bullseye he would have to compensate by adding another bullseye to the number he had to make.
This was very frustrating to Shou. Weather it was shooting an arrow or throwing a shuriken or mastering any other kind of weapon. Linda would always give him a small number, but by the end of the day he would have shot, thrown and swung at least a hundred times the amount he was expected to do.
Of course once Shou got better the number he was supposed to do perfectly also got higher. Making Shou put as much focus in his training as he could, otherwise he would never finish.
Since Shou had seven masters. Each master got a day of the week to teach him.
When Shou heard of this, he was worried that he would forget the teachings his masters would give him. This made sense, after all, Shou was going to learn the same practice once every seven days.
Surprisingly enough when the next week rolled around Shou realized that although he did not remember the practice perfectly in his head. His body seemed to have memorized the practice instead.
This made Shou's masters realize, that they would move on to the next lesson a lot earlier. The only thing that slowed down Shou's practice at first was his fitness.
Since Shou was out of shape at first. His masters limited his time of martial arts practice and had him focus on strengthening his physique everyday instead.
When Shou saw that his martial arts practice was being cut short because of his poor physique. He felt like he had slowed down his future progress. If he had not given up on his dream of being a hero just because he did not have a quirk. He would not have to lower his hours of martial arts training now.
Sadly time moves on and one cannot change the past. Now, all Shou could do was put in all the effort he possibly could into his training.
'I finally have hope to become a hero. I can't let Keis and my parents efforts go to waste' Shou would think whenever he felt tired
Whenever Shou thought of his friend Kei. He would always feel that meeting him was his blessing in life.
After all, it was thanks to keis ideas that Shou was now training to reach his dream. A dream that he had felt the world made impossible for him to achieve.
Now, thanks to his parents genius skills. He knew that with the gear they were making along with his future mastery of martial arts. He would be able to hold his own against villains.
After his physique was trained to a good condition. Shou's masters finally focused more hours on martial arts practice.
It was not only martial arts that Shou learned. He was also taught how to use his surroundings to his advantage, as well as strategies.
After practice was finally done Shou would go to his room, take a shower and join his parents to eat dinner.
After eating and catching up with his parents about their day. Shou would head back to his room to study.
One of the things Shou was great at was studying. Shou who was born to two geniuses was quite the genius himself. So every day he would study different subjects, so that one day he could help his parents build the equipment, he would use in the future.
If one thought about it. Going through so much training and studying just to be a hero at such a young age. Many would think Shou was insane or foolish for doing such things.
In a world where almost everyone wants to be a hero. Heroes that are not only defenders of justice, but also celebrities and public icons. How could Shou, a young boy not want to become one himself.
As the hours would go by, Shou would finally stop his studies. He would stand up from the desk in his room and head to bed.
Thinking of what he will be doing the next day. Shou would slowly close his eyes as he thought 'I need to give it my all tomorrow as well' and finally fall asleep.

While Shou, who had finished his training, went to his room to shower and have dinner.
His masters who were staying in the guest houses near the mansion. Would all get together and discuss how Shou's progress was going as well as what they would be teaching him next.
"To think he had made this much progress already" said Linda in a very happy tone of voice
When Linda first started teaching Shou how to use a weapon. She thought it was going to take at least several years for him to master what she was going to teach him.
Who would have thought, that the first lesson she would teach Shou was progressing at such a fast rate. That even Linda back when she was being taught in her youth was nowhere as fast at learning as Shou was.
"Did you really not expect it. I did say he was a prodigy did I not" said Yosef in a calm tone
"I know you said that, but even then, I did not expect this level of genius" spoke Linda
"None of us did" said Su Jiao
Now that she had witnessed how great Shou's talent is. She could only continue to thank Yosef for calling her and not having her miss this opportunity.
"Okay, okay, we already know how talented he is. Shouldn't we start talking about the real reason we decided to get together today" said Wasi in a serious tone
When everyone heard what Wasi said, they quickly started to talk about the main topic of today's gathering.
"Wasi is right. We should start talking about the main reason we gathered today" said Yosef
As everyone quietly stared at Yosef. He then continued to speak "now tell me, what do you think his chances are for him to achieve his dream?"
"If I had to be honest" said Mikhail before he continued to speak "if this were Russia, he would have a very slim chance. Here on the other hand I am not so sure he would even have that"
"What about you Wasi, what do you think" asked Mikhail to his drinking buddy
"I also think his chances are low, but not impossible" said Wasi
"As for me, I think his chances are higher than you two think" said Su Jiao
"I agree with her" said Hideo
"Why do you think his chances are higher?" asked Wasi with a look of doubt in his eyes
"Have you seen the things Shou's parents have been working on" said Su Jiao, before she continued "if Shou is going to be using those things. Then fighting villains and saving lives should be no problem"
"Even if it is not" said Yuichi before he continued "the real problem is the hero association itself. Would they still allow a quirk-less person to do hero work"
"That is true. They might not be willing to handle such a liability" said Mikhail with a look of frustration
"If that happens, then we only need to push our weight around. I would like to see if they can ignore us" said Yosef in a domineering manner
Many people might not know, but Yosef as well as most of Shou's masters had a great deal of influence within the heroes association. The reason being that they had helped the association one way or another.
So if say the hero association in Japan were to deny Shou his chance to become a hero, just because he was quirk-less. Then how long would it take for them to cave in, when other hero associations from different parts of the world showed their support for Shou.
"So long as he has what it takes to be a hero" said Yosef before he continued "then I will do all I can to make it happen"
With those words from Yosef. The rest of Shou's masters agreed. So long as Shou showed that he could handle being a hero, then they would also do all they could to help him achieve his dream.
