"Boss?" Guan Ting scratched his head and glanced at his phone screen. The call was still ongoing, but there were only faint mumblings of a conversation on the background. Fei Huangjin would never mistakenly call him. It was unheard of for the man to call without a purpose. "Hello? Master Fei?"
He heard two consecutive slams and a momentary silence on the other end before the call was picked up again by Fei Huangjin.
"Why are you still on the phone?"
The thunderous voice reached Guan Ting like a hand tightening his throat, and his eyebrows lifted up in confusion and panic. "Sir, you called--"
Thinking about what Guan Ting must have heard from his conversation with Ying Yue, an embarrassed Fei Huangjin turned red. He channeled his emotions into anger instead, and decided to unleash it on the man who was on the phone with him. "I want everyone in the Dragon Club base to get on the field. Set up the bars. One for each person. All of you will be doing extra training today. I'll handle the training myself."
"Yes, sir. No need to come by, sir. I can supervise--"
"I said all of you -- you included." There was a hint of finality in Fei Huangjin's tone of voice, and a shiver of fear went down Guan Ting's spine. The last time the boss handled training, half the men in the Dragon Club landed in the infirmary overnight.
What in the world did he do to make the master mad?
Guan Ting bit his lip, looking around. He didn't have anything to worry about, right? He was the most capable person in the Dragon Club. There was nothing that Fei Huangjin wanted that he couldn't do. "Yes, sir."

Ying Yue leaned her back against the door. The serious look on her face slowly bloomed into gentleness, and her lips had curved up beautifully into a smile. She held the blue hyacinths against her chest and lowered her nose to smell them.
The heady fragrance of the flowers filled her nose, easily intoxicating her. She'd never been given blue hyacinths before. And she never thought they were so beautiful, especially up close.
A small giggle bubbled out of her lips, and she suddenly couldn't contain the giddy feeling on her chest.
She then proceeded to look for an empty vase where she could place the flowers. It would certainly bright up her apartment. Just looking at them reminded her instantly of Fei Huangjin, and her giddiness intensified. She didn't think Fei Huangjin could look so cute when he apologized.
She had arrived at her apartment just a few minutes ago, and immediately took a bath to get the sweat off her before she settled in. Ying Yue thought about the progress she made with her mission as she carefully trimmed the stems from the hyacinths, neatly arranging them together.
As she gathered from her coffee with Su Jianjun, he had been planning the take over for years. The Su family had established Changsu with Director Chang; however, at that time, the Chang family had more cash than they did, which was why Director Chang had taken control of Changsu for decades.
Ever since Su Jianjun earned more money for the Su family, however, he found that he had a knack for finances and started to cheat the other shareholders off their businesses, secretly trading their businesses for some shares in Changsu. Everything was hush-hush until just recently, when he reached enough shares to overthrow the Chang family.
Ying Yue pursed her lips as she took the flower vase to her living room, propping it up on the coffee table at the middle. Su Jianjun had said all of this to her so openly, prompting her to have doubts on the authenticity of his words. In the first place, how did Su Jianjun earn money for the Su's? There was no information on his file about other businesses that he had. She had to figure this one out, and while she was at it, verify if what he told her was true.
Her hands paused on mid-air. Maybe she should've let Fei Huangjin in earlier to talk about what she'd discovered.
Hmm.
She'd call him later.
