You're heavy

Ying Yue's sudden move threw Fei Huangjin's mind into total disarray. Her soft lips were gentle and forceful at the same time, like the pressing waves of calm waters. And gradually, as if realizing it was real, his initially frozen lips returned her kiss with as much, if not more, enthusiasm and fervor.

His tongue started tracing her bottom lip, prompting her to part her lips slightly. Fei Huangjin groaned as he realized she'd opened up to him and he darted his tongue inside, seeking hers. Ying Yue's mind started to cloud over, and she could no longer think straight. The hands that were pressing against his chest started to grab on to his shirt, as if they were hanging on to him for dear life.

Fei Huangjin dropped part of his weight on her, and angled to the side as one of his hands travelled down to squeeze her waist. She moaned. He made a low growl from the back of his throat.

Her back arched slightly.

Their lips met, separated, and met again. His hands slid further down to the curve of her hip.

It wasn't long before Ying Yue could feel a hard stick poking against her thigh, and when she did, it was like the fog cleared up from her mind. "Huangjin…"

"Yes?" He rained pepper kisses on her eyelids, her nose, her cheeks, her chin.

"Huangjin."

He nibbled and nipped at her jaw as he squeezed her hip tighter, and his kisses went down towards her neck, at the artery pulsating quickly over there. "Mmm." He sucked on the skin there and licked it lightly.

The sensations she was feeling at that moment were enough to raise the hairs on her arms and make her spine tingle. "Huangjin, stop." She tapped on him like a tag team partner tapping out of a game, and the word she uttered made him pause. Even the hand gripping her waist froze in position. Ying Yue's chest was heaving up and down as she fought to catch her breath.

He looked at her questioningly.

"Can we-- can we sit down? You're heavy." She mumbled.

Fei Huangjin sighed. He didn't want to sit down. He wanted to kiss her more. However, he didn't want to overwhelm her. His other hand slid to the back of her neck and he gently rolled her over until Ying Yue was on top of him and he was the one lying on the couch. "That better?" It was her weight pressing down on him this time.

His little friend down there was still on high alert, even if he willed him to stand down. Fei Huangjin had to adjust himself so he wouldn't be poking at any part of her.

Ying Yue sighed, and instead of complaining, she leaned her head against his chest. She could hear the quick lub-dub of his heartbeat. "We're supposed to be talking about Su Jianjun, you know."

His face turned frosty with the mere mention of that name. If it wasn't for that guy, they'd probably be still making out right now. "Damn that Su Jianjun." His mind was still reeling from the kisses they shared a moment ago.

She lifted her head off him, her cheeks tinged with pink. "Huangjin! This is serious."

He grunted. This was certainly not the post- make-out conversation he was gunning for. A breath of frustration escaped his lips as he lifted her off him, making her sit beside him instead.

"You should be careful with him." She frowned.

"I could say the same to you." He mumbled disgruntledly.

Ying Yue ignored his remark and prattled on about what she'd found. From the conversation with his assistant to the things Su Jianjun had told her over coffee.

"How would you know he's telling the truth? He might be on to you."

"I checked on the separate businesses of the other shareholders." She grabbed her phone on the coffee table and swiped to the files she had saved, showing him several graphs. "There was a pattern. Their businesses almost went bankrupt, but turned around in a span of a week. I'm guessing it was during these periods when Su Jianjun stepped in."

"Hmm…" Fei Huangjin took her phone and examined the files seriously. If he looked at the timelines of their near-bankruptcies altogether, one could see that it was like the shareholders were targeted one by one at succeeding times.

It was like the bankruptcies were planned out.

He glanced at her with his eyes narrowed. "The Su family doesn't have other businesses other than having shares in Changsu. So how did Su Jianjun tide these bankruptcies over without an excessive amount of money?"

"That's what I didn't get either. Which is why I wanted to talk to you about this." She frowned, turning to Fei Huangjin with her eyes wary. "One of the ways to get money without it being publicized, is to be a high-ranking official in a syndicate or have some black-market business. You know this. You're like the king of the underworld. So I'm asking you, does Su Jianjun have any ties there?"
