Ying Yue counted to ten in her head in the hopes of calming down. However, her eyes were glued to the tempting view she was seeing and the counting was lost mid-way.
In Greek mythology, there was said to have been a mortal blessed with remarkable beauty, called Adonis, who was desired by the famed Aphrodite -- the goddess of love, beauty, and procreation. It was said that Aphrodite was even caught in a dispute with another goddess for the possession of the boy, and that winter came when Adonis was required to spend his days in the underworld with the other goddess.
When Ying Yue learned about this, her thoughts had been simple: why should these two goddesses fight over a beautiful young man? Boys were all the same, anyway. And there will always be someone as handsome as he, or more handsome than him.
But now, years later, she had learned that not all men were the same. If Adonis was anything like Fei Huangjin -- highly intelligent, beautiful, protective, passionate, and with a heart that genuinely cared for her -- she wouldn't be surprised why Aphrodite was crazy for him.
She rolled over to her side, observing the man beside her quietly. She failed to notice that the rise and fall his chest was a tad quicker, and that his breaths had become slightly uneven. The glass of water had already sobered him up a little bit, and her movements on the bed had started to waken him up.
There were messy strands of hair that curved over his forehead, and Ying Yue stretched out a hand to gently tuck them away. She then scooted closer to watch him, some inches from his head.
Soon, being a foot away from him was no longer enough for her, and she lifted herself up on her elbows, putting face just an inch away from his. Her eyes travelled all over his perfect features, until they landed on his mouth, and before she realized what she was doing, her lips pressed softly against his.
She did it again. And again. Not minding the fact that his breath was still laced with some smell of alcohol.
She was about to kiss him a fourth time when arms pulled her on top of him, making her gasp in surprise. A husky, sleepy voice reached her ears. "What are you doing?"
"Just paying my hubby the kiss he asked for earlier," she reasoned.
Hubby. Why did it sound cute coming from her? "Mmm. Do it properly." He closed his eyes but didn't let her go.
Ying Yue bit her lip for a moment before leaning down to kiss him. He didn't respond to it, prompting her to take the kiss deeper by parting her lips and flicking the inner edge of his lips with her tongue.
The unexpected move started to warm him up, and the more she did that, the harder he became. Fei Huangjin started to open himself up and kiss her back.
Her hands were trapped against his chest, but his hands were free, and they started roaming on her body, sliding up inside her nightgown to touch her there.
"Bad hubby…"
"Mmm."
"Hey, be good!"
"I want to please my wife."
My wife. The two words echoed in her head, and for some inexplicable reason, she felt really happy to hear that. "Aren't you sleepy?"
"I was awakened by a vixen and now have to relieve this." He pressed her against his hard rod, grinding against her to let her know that he was ready.
Adonis also became Aphrodite's lover. The two must have been drunk of each other's love, and they must have been drowning in passion each day they were together.
"Ah!" Fei Huangjin flipped her over so suddenly, spreading her legs apart, and the night gown she was wearing was pushed up to her chest.
He seemed to be wildly awake and sober now.
And just like Adonis and Aphrodite, the two made love until both were spent, and the waves of passion had calmed down to still seas.
In the wee hours of the morning, Fei Huangjin woke up to something moving on the bed. He opened his eyes to see an amorous creature clinging on to him, legs tangled with his and an arm over his waist, her body half on and half off him. Her weight trapped him there, and his arm was a pillow for her head. Her porcelain-like skin was bare and naked, and for a moment, Fei Huangjin closed his eyes to go back to sleep.
But there went that movement again.
He re-focused his eyes on her and finally realized that she was shivering. The quilt had been kicked off to his side.
He drew it over the two of them and pulled her closer, no matter that his arm was getting sore from the weight of her head, or that her body on him was restricting the full expansion of his lungs.
It was fine. This woman beside him was his wife, and these were things he cherished with her.
Fei Huangjin wanted to hold her just like this, forever.
