First Day of School
Ichiro walks to school while having the latest issue of the high school baseball magazine that features all the best players and teams from the country.
Ichiro: So I'm in the final year of junior high aged 15 am I? Well that gives me one year to become good enough to go to a powerhouse high school like Seidou. Looks like I'm gonna have to work my ass off. Luckily, I have some prior baseball experience. Currently my arms are a bit too weak, however, my legs and stamina seem to be in decent condition somehow. Status!

Ichiro reached school and met up with two of his best friends Hiro and Akashi.
Ichiro: Hey guys whats up? Long time no see, how were your vacations?
The boys talked for a while and finished their classes.

After that, they went to their baseball club and had their training session with the entire team. Their team was a team of average talent, with some good batters, but no ace pitcher as of yet.
Ichiro was in the bullpen training his pitching with all his focus.
Ichiro: System show the types of balls I have currently.

Ichiro: Well my skill is trash, but at least I have one breaking ball.
After that, Ichiro kept on training and ended up throwing around 300 pitches. His arm was sore, but the coach saw his passion and tenacity.

On the way back home, Hiro and Akashi were discussing the hottest girls in the school.
Hiro: You're right! Akane has the best assets, however, she is a bit cold and has rejected so many guys!
Akashi: Well in that case Sakura is hot and also sweet. Not to mention the class president. But alas...both of them are out of our league. Isn't that so Ichiro?
Ichiro: Hmm.... maybe who knows?
Hiro: Hah casanova! I'd love to see you trying to approach her!
Ichiro: Maybe I will, now let me focus on this book.
After that, the boys parted ways and went to their respective homes.

Ichiro continued to train day and night, practicing his batting as well as pitching in his backyard.
After a few weeks of just training and going to school, Ichiro was starting to improve at an alarming rate, by increasing his control of both the fastball and the cutter. Catchers in the team were appreciating his control, though his speed was still not the best.
Ichiro: My control is good but how to increase my pitching speed quicker. I got it! Why don't I start doing 20 push-ups a day. I'm already running a 1.5 km a day, what's another 20 push-ups. I have another week until the main roster is decided, I have to go all out! Status!

Ichiro: Hehe! My improvement is not bad! Enhancing both ball grades in just 3 weeks. At this rate, I might be able to get A+ in a few months, though this is relative, as we comparing it to junior high level.
Ichiro: Hmm a call. Yes who is this?
Girl: Hi Ichiro, its Sakura from school.
Ichiro gets shocked that its Sakura, and his heart starts thumping, but he quickly composes himself.
Ichiro: Hi Sakura what's up?
Sakura: Nothing much, I just wanted to let you know that me, you and a couple others have been grouped together for the science project. We are meeting tomorrow at 10 am at the local library, does that work for you?
Ichiro: Absolutely, I will be there sharp at 10 am.
Sakura: Haha no worries! Coming 5 minutes late is not an issue.
Ichiro: Alright, thanks for the call.
Sakura: Good night then Ichiro.
Ichiro: Good night Sakura.
Ichiro: I guess that went well.
