Chapter 20

It wasn't more than ten minutes where the hospital door of Rin's room was slammed open, revealing a little daunting figure.

"Nii-san!" Rin's little sister rushed in only to find that annoying girl who claimed to be her nii-san's girlfriend still hugging him without a shred of shame.

Only after seeing her enter the room did Sylvia reluctantly release her bear hug.

In that exact moment, the thieving cat left her dear brother, she leapt into his arms without hesitation.

She was about to question him but his unusual low temperature frightened her a little.

"Nii-san tell me just what happened to you…" she was rather distracted during the video call because of that thieving cat but seeing looking so sick she was really worried that will he sent would turn out to be a real will.

Rin could never say no to those puppy dog eyes, they were one of his weaknesses and his little sister obviously knew that.

It wasn't really a secret so he didn't hide his experience and told the whole story to the two in the room, though how he ended up in the hospital he wasn't entirely sure.

"The doctors were told you were poisoned by something and they worked round the clock trying to keep you alive but strangely you got better on your own. There were a few times where you were very close to death, so I was told." Sylvia said solemnly.

Somehow it didn't feel shocking to Rin as he already experienced inhumane levels of pain and suffering so he just attributed that to him being close to death thus he accepted it easily but his little sister did not.

"Nii-san! This is too much! Please you are too young to enlist in the army! Look at yourself! Even this thieving cat said that you almost died several times! This job is just too dangerous! I'm telling Dad about this."

Rin held her in his arms and stroked her little head gently.

"I'm alright, don't worry."

The little lass very quickly calmed down and pouted a little because his hugs and head pats were her weaknesses and felt that he was cheating.

Though she looked calmer her eyes still showed that she wasn't backing off the issue one bit.

Rin sighed a little and kissed her forehead along with the expression of a loving big brother.

"Alright I will be more careful in the future Yuno. I promise."

Yuno nodded her head and declared "You better."

Meanwhile Sylvia was smiling at the side and even took pictures of Rin's big brother expressions.

"Now that's been settled, let's move on to the next problem shall we?" Yuno gave a smile that did not seem like a smile.

"Nii-san so who is that person? Tell me the truth is she really your girlfriend?"

"Err…." Rin once again did not know how to answer.

Somehow Rin could guess what her brother was thinking so she turned to the thieving cat, took her by the hand and dragged her outside.

'Oh boy.' Rin just prayed Yuno wouldn't go overboard.
