Chapter 22
( Naruto POV )
Today's morning was pleasant. As me and Kuromaru were doing our daily morning run, we were appreciating the beauty of nature, the morning fresh air entered our lungs, birds were flying and doing their buisness and the rising sun, was welcoming the new day.
Today was supposed to be pleasant... But no! Some creeps have to show up and ruined the morning!
Me and Kuromaru simultaneously turned our heads to see the two creeps, jogging along side with us.
"CAN YOU FEEL IT LEE!!! CAN YOU FEEL THE POWER OF YOUTH RUSHING TO YOUR BODY!!!"
"YES GUY-SENSEI!!! IT'S VERY ADDICTING!!!"
The two people who were running with us were the green skintight jumpsuit wearing ninja called Guy and his apprentice Lee.
They were screaming about this power of youth thingy since they began their jog.
I had enough of this!!!
Me and Kuromaru increased our speed, we were trying to loose them by running far ahead from them. But, oh we were so wrong...
"LEE!!! THEY ARE GRACIOUSLY LETTING US TO CHALLENGE THEM!!! LET US SHOW THEM THE POWER OF YOUTH!!!"
"YES! GUY-SENSEI!!!"
With a loud battle cry, they increased their speed.
The two creeps soon were on our tails, and they even out ran us. But me and Kuromaru never back down from a challenge, so we increased our speed as well.
We soon caught up to them and out ran them.
"LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE TAKING IT SERIOUSLY!!! FASTER LEE!!! WE HAVE THE POWER OF YOUTH ON OUR SIDE!!!"
"YES GUY-SENSEI!!!"
At the park, four bodies were sprawling at the grassy ground, taking deep breaths, those were us. We were completely exhausted.
"We.should. do. this. again." Guy said stopping at every word as he took deep breaths.
That was a good idea but I don't want to see them ever again. They are too wierd for my taste.
"I have a question for you two." I said
"And what is that?" Guy said.
"what do you want with me ?" I said in a harsh tone. He was a ninja and all ninjas were the same in my eyes. The very reason he's here makes me feel uncomfortable.
"Actually I want to thank you." Guy said.
The Fuck! What did I even do, that I need to be thanked.
"I know you may not know the reason, but you are the reason my apprentice has such bright flames in his heart, I can feel it, the flames of youth! The willpower to make even the impossible, possible. You are...
Seriously, I have no idea what he is blabbering about.
"For that very reason, I will help to get stronger! I am the green Beast of Konoha, the greatest Taijutsu fighter to ever walk on the elemental Nations!
Frankly, I rather not. But if that title of the 'greatest Taijutsu fighter ' is real, then I might as well take the offer.
"Show me what you got." I said.
" Firstly, I see that you are using weight seals during your run. Not bad."
Well, it really helps to strengthen the legs and it can be placed on any part of the body so it's quite versatile.
"But it's still not enough. Why don't you try using gravity seals."
Gravity seals are high level seals and as the name suggests, it increases or decreases the gravity of the area the seal it in contact with. After a few moments of deep thought, I understood what is the purpose of using the gravity seals.
On placing the gravity seals on our bodies, gravity will increase, pressuring our body to the ground, inhibiting the body movements, forcing more strength to be applied to move our body. Plus it also helps to strengthen each and every bones in our body.
"I can see that you already understood the usefulness of a gravity seal. You are as intelligent as Neji praised you to be."
Oh that fellow told these guys about me huh...
Well I got to thank him later.
"Also, I also will give you these Taijutsu scroll techniques." Guy took out six scrolls from his Chunnin vest and placed them on the grassy ground. " Have a look at them."
I took the offer with out any hesitation. You don't get this kind of opportunity every day, so make good use of it.
I opened the first scroll and began reading it...
"These are the scrolls containing the most popular Taijutsu styles I have collected for many years, though they may be weaker than my Taijutsu style but they can be very lethal, especially the one you are reading right no-"
"Too flashy." I said with no emotions what so ever. Guy was dumbstruck.
Kuromaru also read the scroll, though he may be an bull, I have been teaching him to read for quite a while and he can read simple children story books quite well. How is that even possible you ask. Well the reason is very simple, I am a good teacher that is why. I am actually proud of that. Even Hinami-san approved that it's true.
"I can't actually read this, but if you say it's too flashy, then I think it's useless for me." Kuromaru commented.
Me and Kuromaru use the same fighting mentality that goes, "Destroy everything that opposes you." Basically, we prefer to use simple and practical moves using brute strength over flashy techniques.
I took the next scroll...
" Too flashy."
Then the next scroll...
" Still too flashy."
Then the next...
"Still too flashy."
.
.
.
The last scroll was interesting, it was titled, "Tiger style". This was what we need. This fighting style, focus on striking your enemies with fingers, that are strengthen by inhuman levels of training. To the point that it they act as claws, easily tearing flesh like butter and rocks like cardboard.
Kuromaru knows very well that, during our bloody sparring session, if by any chance Lady Luck was on his side and he manages to disarm me from my giant sword I named Despair, victory was his. Now I have the chance to to improve and get stronger.
" Can I take all of them?" I asked.
Even if they were too flashy for either me or Kuromaru, who said that it would not help us. In life nothing is free. And if any asshole came to me and say that, "Hey! air is free you know."
That asshole is either dumb or retarded.
Not everything can be bought with money, but they can be bought with something else of equal value. It's like barter system.
We take in air and pay the trees who give us air, releasing carbon dioxide to the air.
Love is not free, but it can be accomplished by spending time with the person you love. Time is the gift every living being posses and if you spend it on useless things, it can never be refunded. But if it's for Hinata, it is something I'll gladly spend on.
So, to summarise everything, nothing is free, but if it is, use every means to acquire it. For that is something you won't find everyday.
Guy gave me a thumbs up accompanied with a flashing smile.

( At The Raikage's tower )
Things were not going well in Kumo, especially with the Raikage. After the failed attempt to kidnap the newly born Hyuga baby, he began to kidnap children or adults having special bloodlines from different villages. He even proposed to kidnap the granddaughter of Iwa's current Kage.
'Old man, I don't know what is going on inside your head, but things have gotten too far.' A thought, while staring at his restless father, shouting at the council.
" I don't care if our ninja's get caught in the process! they are sacrificing their lives for the betterment of the village!" The third Raikage bellowed. His voice was terrifying enough to make the entire council to shiver in fear. This was no leader, he was a Dictator.
'What exactly is better for the village, is it kidnapping inocent people making them breeding livestock to strengthen the village, or is it something else.' A thought.
The arrival of a Ninja, interrupted the meeting.
" What do you want?" The Raikage demanded.
"Raikage-sama, we have received information that spies are being spotted around the premises of our village, and the group is confirmed to be from Konoha.
The Raikage snorted, " Those pesky punks! they have gotten very bold to enter our territory. Give this information to the 'Search and Destroy ' units, Find those MOTHER FUCKERS!!! AND KILL ALL OF THEM!!!"
"Yes Raikage-sama" The ninja disappeared from the room.
(At the Konoha's spy hideout)
Five ninja's were sitting inside a cave, eating their rations by the fire. From the group, two were males and three were females.
"It's getting very dangerous these days." One female said.
"I agree, but we can't just give up, we must find intel that Kumo was behind the kidnapping and murder attempt." A man said.
"I know, but aren't you worried, I mean look at Suzuki-san and Hikari-san they have a three year old son you know." Another female said, pointing at a couple cuddling together as they looked at picture of their son.
Hikari looked at the group, " Of course we are scared, but if this mission can lead to my son and all the children being able to sleep peacefully at the village, I'll gladly take the mission."
"I know you are very patriotic and all, but think about your son, spend more time with him. You might not know when you will see him ever again." The man said.
"By the way, I want to ask, what is son's name."
Suzuki smiled, " Konohamaru, Sarutobi Konohamaru."
