Side story 2

We where all looking at Kiza waiting to hear what was in the letter. He looked at all of us then looked at me and grinned, " Looks like you owe me $30 Mizuki." I sighed, " I knew this would happen." I said as I left to get some money.

When I came back to the room we heard a knock at the front door. We decided to ignore it because we thought the mail man forgot to deliver a package. Shadow kept looking at the door and looked like she wanted us to open it.

I got up and went to the door and saw a kid try to walk away from the house but he just kept falling over. I ran over to the kid and helped him get up. He looked at me and said with a weak voice, " thank you, I'll leave now " before he started walking away I asked him if he wanted to come inside to rest for a while. " Can I really do that?" I nodded and lead him inside.

We went inside and I let him sit on the couch while I went to get him a blanket. When I came back he was sleeping soundly on the couch. I put the blanket on him and called Hikaru but she didn't answer so I called mom but she didn't answer either.

I went to Riku and told him about the kid and that Hikaru wasn't picking up the phone and mom wasn't either. "We'll have to wait until they call back, until then we're just going to watch over him."

I nodded and went to tell the others the decision. When I got back to the living room Shadow was sitting next to the kid, she didn't seem like she wanted anyone to get near him.

I decided to make lunch since no one else was willing to do it. I didn't want to give the kid any thing he might be allergic to so I made salad and some pork chops.

Everyone else ate while the kid was sleeping, but we made sure to leave him some food. I tried to give some pork chops to Shadow but she stayed next to the kid.
