In a world of werewolves, Karma is forced to hide her true identity from others. Forced to be at a human orphanage she decides to run away, with the help of whom? A male wolf, stronger and faster than expected, they travel to the River Forest together. When he is killed, she is left alone. Or so she thought. Upon finding her true mate, Asher. Asher tells her that him and her are considered “glitches in society”, which causes them to be in constant danger. On the run, they decide to continue the journey together. Until they find the ruins of, what was once her home, a pack that was brutally pushed out of existence. Karma finds it hard to leave and begs Asher to help her rebuild her home. Soon they discover that Karma is pregnant and can no longer travel so they hide in what they plan to be their pack house.

Prophecy Wolves

After they learned of Karma's pregnancy, Asher began to worry if he could take care of her out here during the rainy season.


   "Are you sure we shouldn't go back?"


   "Asher, im ok. We can just fix one of the small houses for now." 


   "Yes, Asher, im sure!" She said sternly with a hint of a giggle. 


   He nodded his agreement. "Then we need to go to the closest town to get an axe and hammer."


   He grabbed her hand, leading her carefully through the woods. "Are you ok?" He asked for the seventh time in two minutes.


   "Im fine, i promise. I'll let you know if im not."


   Upon returning from the town, Asher began building it slowly, with a little work each day. He went back to town almost daily to get more supplies. And over the time span of six months, Asher had rebuilt two floors and a third of the top floor.


   Heading for the town again, Karma decided to go along with him. 


   Upon making it to the town, Karma stayed in the woods while Asher got supplies. 


   Every time Karma felt a contraction, she felt the urge to shift, knowing the pain would sub-side if she was in wolf form. But, she knew the risks in shifting back in forth with pregnant, so she fought the urge. 


   "Karma?" Asher's came from just behind the tree line. She was sitting down panting. The pain doubling every second. Asher's face fell. "Karma?" He asked, cautiously putting a hand out towards her. She snapped and growled at him. 


   Even her wolf form wasn't helping the pain. She got up and paced uneasily. "Karma, we need to go back to the South pack." Asher said worriedly.


  "No..." she winced "Im fine." She said laying down again. It wasnt long before she got up and started pacing. "Lets just go home." She said before shifting back to human form. 


   Asher shifted and hoisted her up onto his back before he took off deeper into the woods. 


   Karma's grip was weakening, and when Asher felt her almost fall he would slow down and let her regain her strength a bit. 


   Finally, they made it back to the ruins if what is going to be their pack. 


   Asher immediately went to work on the rest of the Pack house, and finished it before dusk. Asher moved her over to the rebuilt headquarters. 


   Karma laid, in her human form, on the floor curled into a fetal position. 


   Asher snuggled up beside her, still in his wolf form. Karma's eyes went wide "they're coming." She said before screaming in pain. Asher held her tight between his body and muzzle. He could feel the pain in his stomach but he knew it wasn't as bad as hers. 


   She laid there crying, with him close behind her, for a few hours before finally going into labor. 


   She shifted one last time in hopes to help the pain and that the babies would be born in wolf form, making it easier and less time consuming to raise them. 


   Five pups in total, Karma lay sprawled out in her human form panting. Her stomach finally easing and she realized how tired she had been. Her eyes drifted closed as she felt Asher's warm fur snuggle behind her and her pups curl up near her stomach.
