The Parasaur the I bola'd squealed in pain, sorry if I have to kill you...
I release the arrow from my bow and hit its head four times. I don't have any experience using bow but Hellena said my body can adapt to different kinds of weapons easily but not to the point I'm God-like in an instant. I still need to train a bit.
One Parasaur down and the others started to run or stampede like crazy, one of the Parasaur is approaching me, I know it won't eat me it's just out if it's mind and run everywhere until it escapes.
But First suddenly charged and slam its side of the body that cause the Parasaur to crash in a large rock.
I gave First a thumbs up and bola'd another one. I targeted its foot so that it will be unable to move.
One of the Parasaur's rushed to the water and that is where it ended its own life. The Megalodon easily devoured it.
I closed my eyes looking at it. It's too much for me right now. I only killed three of them, and let the other's free. This is already enough.
Using the hatchet, I manage to gather so much hide and meat, thanks to the gathering boost.
I want to catch a predator as soon as possible too because it can gather more than this than I do.
Amazingly, the Dinosaurs I killed, suddenly vanished when I gathered the specific materials, I asked Hellena and she said its part of the Simulation, and they will respawn in a specific time.
So if I want to meet the special creature that she named, I need to be in a killing spree mode huh.
Well, I will know it sooner or later.
What I collected from the Dino's are Hide and Meat.
If I have a carnivore maybe I can collect more of it.
I decided to craft the fullest Hide Armor to cover me from heat and cold.
Now then, I have to tame those Anky's.
Crafting at least a thousand tranquilizer arrows, me and First decided to look for some Anky's. I have a map but I want to venture the Herbivore Island more.
While riding first, Hellena told me about each Dino's always separate from different species, I thought they co-exist but she said the simulation is a game of survival and if bad luck strikes, I may encounter an army of Rex...
I sighed thinking about it, and also I leveled up to six so I can craft advance-ish equipment.
I have finally arrived in the Ankylosaurus territory.
"Ankylosaurus species of medium, quadrupedal herbivore that inhabits the Island. Its skin is adorned with a thick coating of spikes, bony plates, osteoderms, and fused bone. The head has plentiful spikes, as well as a beak at the tip of the mouth and enlarged nasals. They are relatively low to the ground with short legs and a low head; they protect themselves by wielding a wicked club on the end of their muscular tails. The only region not covered with body armor is the belly."
So that is why they are a counter for Megalodons. I want to tame as many as I can but there will be sacrifices made... Sorry.
"Some of you will die once we start to cross to the main Island. But I promise to find a way that all of you will survive."
I mumbled it's not like I'm a wicked person. As a human, I want to survive.
"So my target is their bellies huh," I asked.
"Yes! and it's useless to climb on some rocks. They will smash it to pieces easily."
I know that... So the most efficient way is to kite them by riding First.
It's decided, I ordered First to roar and gather their attention. My first arrow missed because I have to hit their underbelly.
Four Anky's followed First while I focused on a single Anky. Finally, I managed to hit one in the underbelly but it is still not enough!
I fired and missed and fired again until it hit the second time. The Anky that I barraged with arrows finally fainted. I have three more targets while there are seven more on the other side.
I jumped off to First and let First Kite them for a while.
I went to the Anky and started taming it. I put some berries in its mouth and run towards First again and ride him. This continued for twenty minutes.
I noticed First getting tired but even a Herbivore can be this brave huh or is it just I tamed him?
First needs rest, what should I do... Three Anky's were unconscious while one of them is still crawling towards us.
I am unable to bola the Anky because of how short it is.
I got off to First and he looked at me, as what his eyes communicate right now. I know you're worried.
"I'll be fine, you need rest."
I oat his back and run towards the Anky. Luckily they are slow. But what I'm worried about is I will reach a dead-end or a cliff. Oh well.
I opened the crafting system and started to craft some wooden walls.
It's like I'm playing Fortnite.
Then I confronted the Anky with the help of the crafting system.
