Please be a bit patient for the first volume i.e 69 chapters which might be a bit stale, the first 69 chapters are used to build the characters around Rei and himself.

Toujou Rei, a little boy obsessed with baseball, has always admired his father, Tensei. Wishing to follow in his father's footsteps, Rei dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. In turn, his son's starry-eyed admiration encourages Tensei to keep persevering despite issues, Unfortunately, Tensei dies while protecting Rei from a car accident, which leaves a mental scar on him making him unable to play his beloved baseball anymore, but after getting motivated more than ever, Rei works hard to carve his way in the baseball world by becoming one of the best baseball players as his dad wished.

Sora sat beside him and asked, "Yes, Rei. Is there anything the matter?"

Rei nodded and said, "Today the other two teams of the camp played a match. It was Seiki and Tenko. I saw them play and understood the gap between our team and theirs. I wanted to know your thoughts on their team." looking at him. He knew Sora would know more about them than he did and wanted to get more information about them.

Sora knew what was going on in Rei's head and chuckled. He said, "So you want more information on them out of him. Right?" Rei knew he was caught and shyly nodded. He didn't back down.

Sora shrugged and said, "Well ok. Both the teams have their own weaknesses and specialties as you might have observed already. But the Seiki team could not cover their weakness like Tendo did."

"The Tenge Brothers," spoke Rei as he knew the difference between both the teams.
