Prologue: Origins of the steam sky Part 3.

After Casper's Encore, the Pirates know he was too good to die. They gave him back his luggage and other belongings. Mainly they kept him around like an entertainment dummy when they ever got bored or partied.

So far, the Pirates have him do the Barnacle Boy work. You know what the classic pirate is saying. "Swab the poop deck." That was his Day to day job. In which Casper feels grateful.

On an occasion when he worked on the ship, Casper would always pray to God. "Thank you, God"! "You are great"! He would say that every day he gets up, and every day you sleep. If he wasn't Christian, he is now. Even when pirates we're just walking along the deck or minding their own business.

He always thanks God for keeping them away from him. Even the Buccaneers on onboard found it pretty creepy every time he did that. Pirates don't take kindly to people who are too religious.

But you know, sometimes Casper tends to get depressed. Other times he wants to believe it was God that saved him. When he knows deep down, what kept him was his stupidity and ego.

He was also lucky that these Pirates were not the type to kill and torture. He was spending the remainder of his time there on the Pirate's good side. The last thing he wanted was to be Marooned. He wasn't even going to fight back. Because we'll, you didn't want to. He has nowhere else to go, and his stuff is on the ship.

He's tired of fighting for something that's just going to make things worse. All he can do right now is to see where this life takes him. Because every action he took landed him on a pirate ship dancing for pirates. So Casper's conclusion is to roll with it. Roll with it and see what opportunities this lifestyle as a Pirate gives him.

For three months, Casper spent his time with Ben Korngold's crew. Eventually, the Pirates on the ship started to appreciate his company. At first, they started openly mocking him and beat him up to toughen him a little. Then started treating him as another pirate.

I was even teaching him how to wield a musket and hold a sword for self-defense. Good timing too. "Because who can forget the best part about being a pirate." One time there was a 4-hour scuffle with some Redcoats. Casper even killed a few Redcoats himself. In which that, self-defense comes in handy. Of course, killing them didn't make him feel all at safe.

It made him queasy. But don't worry, the crew comfort him and tell him to suck it up. Even the devil pirate told him you didn't have to kill them at all. Strangely he got famous for killing Redcoats at the age of 15.

He was so popular with the pirates, the devil pirate himself took him to be part of his new crew. He was only first mate to Ben Korngold, the real Captain. Casper didn't want to because the devil pirate was Haunting to look at. But he would never say it to his face, so he joined him out of fear. Plus, he was so involved with the Buccaneers so far.

That the devil pirate wanted him to give the pirate code never to leave his side, Casper took the pirate code and gripped his hand without hesitation. The devil smiled at the boys' newfound respect for him. He was so happy he told Casper this. "The names Blackbeard but you can call me Captain."

Casper is now a pirate of Blackbeard's crew. With the Queen Anne's Revenge, they were stolen from the gentleman pirate. Begin another conquest of pirating and capturing as many merchant ships as they can find. They are creating one of the most effective forms of piracy ever created in humanity. Like the famous 500 slaves ship, La Concorde, and Gulf of Mexico Siege.

Casper was truly living life. While living, Casper got to know Blackbeard a little more. He studied what made Blackbeard so menacing.

He finally understood. Every time a ship comes by, He put smoke in his hair like steam coming out of his head. Create the illusion that he was the devil.

Casper found that very deceptive. He never idolized him. Or found him very inspiring. I Will not at the moment. But he respected his scare tactics and his consistent refusal to torture his victims.

So many, many months later, even when the Queen Anne's Revenge eventually sank into the ocean. Blackbeard had to remain in North Carolina in a pirate amnesty on Ocracoke Island.

Blackbeard Marooned parts of his crew and kept his most loyal workforce, even Casper. Then began another plunder. Their last plunder.

Finally, on November 22nd, 1718. Lieutenant Maynard, by order of Alexander Spotwood, put a bounty on Blackbeard. He wanted him dead or alive. Blackbeard and Casper are still on Ocracoke Island. Was confronted with a surprise attack by Maynard.

Blackbeard is seeing the end staring at him in the face. Grabs Casper and tell them this. "Get out of here, Kiddo. Your life has just begun" "I see a great future in your eyes." Casper understood, and both of them sprinted in the opposite direction, never seeing each other again.

Casper swam to the city Side of Carolina. Luckily putting all his belongings and goods on a nearby carriage that he hid behind some bushes—scalloped far away from his captain. He sprinted on that carriage for days until he managed to settle down in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Casper, out of breath and soaking wet, got sick and had to a nearby hospital. He was resting there until he healed. Then received the news that Blackbeard was killed in action. Casper is not feeling too devastated by the news. However, he went back into his bed and spent the night at the hospital.
