: It starts with the hair
"Amy! Honey, where have you been? It's been like an hour" Bryan greeted her with a hug and a kiss on both cheek. Amy just returned the gesture and walk to sat on a chair
"Oh, I got lost. And I waited for 30 minutes to get a taxi from my apartment to get here for 10 minutes and it cost me $15!" Amy complained to Bryan, her gay friend and stylist
"And speaking of spending money, now I only have enough to style my hair! This is supposed to be a relaxing day!" Amy just kept on complaining and Bryan just listens to her
"Oh Amy, I understand, you'll get used to it. One day you will be able to cope all of this problems and have an even wonderful life than when you are in the Mills mansion! You can rise higher by yourself!" Bryan comforted her and started preparing the materials they will be needing to style her hair
"Come on let's wash your hair and discuss what you want for it" Bryan led her to the washing area and started washing her hair
"Bryan, I know you have already watched my video and knew I needed a new style to begin my new life. So I know you already have an idea on what to do with it, just enjoy and style my hair anyway you want haha" Amy just let her stylist do what he wants because she knows he will enjoy it, on the other hand, Amy would not be bothered and just take a nap during the process. At least she is able to relax this way. Besides, she trust Bryan will not disappoint her, he is one of the best hair stylists in the world!
When Amy told him he can do what ever he wants with her hair, his twinkled brightly. This is every hair stylist's dream, to have a free hair to play with any style! Before starting, he looked at Amy's features to determine what kind of style he should do.
Amy always part her hair in the middle and just let her hazelnut brown curly hair flow down. It's like a smooth twirly slide that could go forever because the length of her hair is almost near to her thighs!
Good thing she always took good care of her hair that it does not tangle and frizz up, specially for this long hair. That's why this kind of hair always suited her. Since she wants something new, Bryan decided to make her new hair the opposite of her old one.
Once Bryan decided what to do with her hair, he started working while Amy is just sitting there taking a nap, waking every now and then to get her hair washed
4 hours later...
Bryan woke Amy up to tell her he is done with her hair "To be honest, I did have fun!" Bryan claps in joy and enjoys his work, stroking Amy's new hair to feel it
Amy was surprised, her new hair is beautiful!
From her long curly brown hair, it is now short, the length only passes her shoulder, it was also now straight and the color also changed. It is a color that mixed her old color, brown, with red making a dark velvety red color with two streaks of orange highlights on each end
"Wow.." Amy was still in a shock state
"I know right!" Bryan giggled and is very happy of his work. "Bryan, you are really amazing!" Amy praised his work
"Oh please, I know" both of them laughed "Starting with a new hair is not a bad idea. Your beauty is always your weapon, your sister's fake face has no match!" Bryan added when Amy is just about to leave
Amy bid her goodbye to her friend and walked the path she remembered when she was riding the taxi to go here.
But isn't it a bit too early to go home already? Amy thought of what else she can do and remembered the card the driver gave her. Maybe she could check out this job
She called the number that is on the card, after a few minutes someone picked up
"Hello?" The man on the other end greeted
"Hello? Is this the taxi driver earlier?" Amy asked
"Oh! Yes, so you wanted to give the job a try?" The man asked "Yeah, it won't harm me right? I really needed a job for now" Amy replied
The man said his name was, Gale and his friend's name is Gabby. Gale told her the address of the place and instructed her to just say his name to the photographer there and she will be on her own after that
Amy thanked Gale and hanged up. "I don't have enough money left to ride another taxi, I guess I should walk" Amy sighed and just asks directions where she could find the Snap! Studio. After a feeling of walking forever, she finally arrived in front of the studio
When she stepped inside she first saw a lady holding a clipboard, and judging her by her outfit, she looks like a secretary so Amy spoke to her to look for Gabby
"Excuse me? I'm looking for a photographer named Gabby?" The lady looked at her from head to toe and was stunned by her beauty
"A savior has come.." the lady whispered to herself while still looking at Amy.
Amy got conscious by how the lady looks at her so she asked again "Excuse me? Is there something wrong with me?"
"No! Nothing at all. Come follow me inside" the lady gestured for Amy to follow her inside the studio. From the outside she can here some argument that is happening, so she stopped and patted the lady in front of her on the shoulder "I think it's a bad time right now, maybe I should come by next time" Amy said worriedly, afraid to just barge in a heated argument
"No no no! Your timing is perfect!" The lady insisted for her to come in
"How come she did not even notify us in advance?" A man with a camera shouted to another man in front of him with his head bent low
"If you are just gonna waste my time, then you better return the money I gave!"
"Please, sir can we just move the shoot to another day? Mia just got sick this morning and have no time to notify you because she had lost most of her energy and has only the strength to notify me" the other man pleaded
"I have no time for another day! The release of my first magazine is long awaited..." the man with the camera was cut off his sentence when the lady Amy was with walked beside the man and whispered something while pointing at her
The man looked at Amy with the same stunned expression and walked towards her
"Hello miss, I heard you're looking for me? The name's Gabriel Lores, you can call me Gabby" Gabby extended his arm to greet him
"Yes I am Amy Mills, your friend Gale said you have a job opening?" Amy politely asked while she was feeling awkward when she heard the argument earlier
"Oh my that friend of mine is such a savior! You are perfect!" Gabby exclaimed and walked towards the other man earlier "The contract with your model is canceled!" Gabby called for the security to lead the man outside to start his shoot
"Amy, you have no idea what crisis I've been going through right now and you just saved it!" Gabby once again exclaimed and showed her to the vanity table
Surprised she was sitting in front of a vanity with a make up artist just re touching her make up, Amy got curious and asked "What kind of job am I going to have exactly?"
"Why you are my model for my magazine front cover of course! It's the very first magazine Snap! will release after being a photography studio for so long. And since 'someone' did not show up, and it happens you came, you truly saved my magazine!" Gabby can not really contain his excitement and showed her the dress she will be wearing and explains the theme so she will understand what to do
"But, I have no experience in modeling! I am only familiar with the camera because I am a vlogger" Amy worriedly said after stepping out of the dressing room
After Gabby saw her, her beauty was extraordinary. The blue dress suits her fair white skin, like a snowflake in the sky! "It's fine you used to be a vlogger you will be photogenic, you already look perfect just standing like that! I'd say it's because of your hair, it's so unique!"
