Ch.22

The morning after we got our newest bounties we made land on an uninhabited wild island. There I brought out the Poneglyph and let Robin read it. She said it mentioned Jaya island and called it the city of gold as well as one of the allies of some ancient kingdom.

I shrugged and left it there on the beach as she, thanks to Nami's advice, did an etching of the Poneglyph. Nami herself wasn't doing cartography and measuring the island while Zoro and I had a serious duel farther down and Sanji used my ring to gather as many fruits from the trees as possible.

Luffy was off with Chopper knocking fruit out of the trees while Usopp got stuck cleaning the ship as he pissed off Nami by spilling some ink she'd collected from a squid I had Kame pull up for her.

Zoro and I went round and round for hours until both of us were panting. We were both considered swords masters in my eyes while he was a beginner I was already nearing the high grade by compressing my aura and haki to further refine it.

I'd made significant progress while he was progressing the longer we fought. Our last blows had a chunck sliced out of my side and him nearly split in half before we barely managed to eat senzu beans in time to survive.

Laughing we stood up to begin again until Nami came over and hit us both on the head and complaining that we were ruining the landscape and her accurate measurements for her maps.

Sighing I looked around to the mountain we nearly leveled and the deep ravines we made with our blades before bursting out laughing before apologizing to Nami and heading back to the ship while promising Zoro a rematch on the next island.

Meanwhile in the forest the aftershocks of our fighting had knocked almost all the fruits from the trees and saw Sanji collecting almost the whole forests supply of fruit, one of which was a devil fruit.

He left some for a family of monkeys before heading back with Chopper and Luffy. I got my ring back before seeing the devil fruit inside and chuckling before showing it to them. "It's the monkey-monkey fruit model: Ape."

Luffy looked it over before I asked Sanji. "Do you want it since you found it?"

He shook his head fervently and I chuckled before storing it with the rest. Zoro didn't want to rely on devil fruits and I don't need them either, especially not Zoan types. We could sell it at auction I'm sure or give it to someone we trust along the way.

We left the island later that night and the next day Nami locked herself in her room to draw maps while telling everyone to be quiet unless theirs a change in the weather.

For their sake I knocked Luffy, Usopp and Chopper out while telling Sanji and Zoro to keep it quiet. Robin and I had a nice chat and went for a walk around the ship before settling on Kame's head until the storm arrived.

I took her back to the ship and woke everyone up before calling Nami out of her room. We had a rough fight against the sea for several hours as it did it's best to capsize us.

When it was finally over Sanji made lunch and I called Kame back to the ship as he'd had to unhook himself or risk bringing us under with him. He circled the ship carefully to inspect it before gurgling and as Chopper put it, asking for another shell cleaning when we reach dry land again.

I agreed easily and let him roam a bit ahead of us until he found a weird snail and brought it to me. I looked it over before opening the hatch on it's side and knocking the guy out before dumping all his stuff on deck and closing the hatch again before sending it flying away at high speeds.

The others looked at me weirdly and I shrugged. "I'm not a fan of salesman. They always want you to pay top berry for low value goods."

I handed Nami a giant stack of mapping paper and she thanked me fervently. The others picked out what they wanted and the rest I put in my ring to be sold later. I had my symbiote self wish for more weighted watches to match the soon to be rest of the crew and one for Sabo before the dragon balls scattered to the ends of my inner galaxies to recover.

I gave Robin and Chopper a weighted watch apiece and made some rings for each of the crew members. I filled them with food and water supplies as well as charmed them to always return to their rightful owner's hands.

I added a book on the six powers, haki and senzu beans to each of the rings before passing it all out. Luffy was excited to get his as they each had our Jolly Roger on them in ornate designs with different backgrounds.

Zoro's had three swords, mine two, Sanji's a shoe, fork and a spoon , Nami's a map and staff. Robins was a book and an ancient letter she called Ohara's symbol while Chopper's was a vial and a syringe. Luffy's was unique as it was gold with diamonds, rubies and sapphires representing our Jolly Roger with an outline of a fist.

He loved it so much he couldn't stop smiling until he heard I'd put a lot of food and stuff inside it. I told each of them how to utilize it and warned that it would kill any living creature if they were put inside them.

They all agreed to be careful and I especially warned Luffy repeatedly with a serious expression. He got it though as it wasn't something to fool around with. I did tell him that if he wanted to store his catches inside they'd always stay fresh and he'd be able to eat fresh meals on the go.

We passed through some fog a bit and spotted some marines inside. Robin saved their cook from falling overboard and he, Luffy and Sanji had a little adventure. I hopped over and stole their MarineFord, Enies Lobby and Impel Down Log poses.

With all three we had a matching full set for the first half of the grand line. I'd have to raid Marineford or Mariejois, the home of the celestial dragons aka the leaders of the world government atop the red line, a giant wall of rock spanning the planet like two rings, one of which we crossed with reverse mountain to get to the first half of the grand line.

When Luffy and Sanji came back long after I did, we continued on our journey. For several days afterwards it rained to the point where Luffy actually picked up a book to everyone's surprise including my own. He was brushing up on the six powers and Haki when Zoro came in.

I covered his mouth and dragged him outside where he showed me the island we were coming up on. I told Kame to pull us to a dock and tied us off when he did. After that I fed him more foundation pills and told him to surface away from the ship so I could clean and wax his shell.

I told Zoro to tell the others and got to work. Three hours later Kame was happy as I'd removed all the moss and barnacles from his shell both top and bottom and set up his snail who'd been eating seaweed and enjoying some music I'd put on it and Kame's headphones.

After I cleaned inside the shell as well another two hours passed before Kame shook the island again by going back into the water slowly. It was a big island and he was only a twentieth it's size but that was still a great size and a lot of ground to cover even with Soru so it had taken me a while.

When he was satisfied I told him to go find himself some food while I went to see what the others were up to. Robin had waited on the boat for me so after I showered and dressed up we left to find the village the rest of the crew wondered off to.

There we found Usopp working as an extra hand to prepare some fireworks. I saw the biggest one and smiled while making some hidden and slight changes to it before we left. Usopp was there because I'd refused to let him do his experiments with gunpowder on the ship so he needed someone else's supply and a place to do it.

Robin and I took a stroll through town while I told her a few jokes and a story about Luffy and Sabo being chased by a giant tiger butt naked through the forest when we were kids. We'd found a hot spring and before I could take a dip, the tiger had shown up while they were relaxing in it.

Sabo had to hold Luffy up as his devil fruit was effected and when the tiger went to take a drink, Luffy pissed in it's eye and it chased us for miles until we escaped by climbing trees. It brought laughter to her and a smile on her face so I told her a few more before asking for a few happy memories she carried.

She told me about her teachers on Ohara and her mother as well as Jaguar D. Saul. I nodded and told her that all those I'd ever met with the D in their name were a stubborn lot especially Luffy but we were also a carefree type of people who preferred happiness and freedom over safety and rules.

We watched the fireworks together and she took my hand and smiled. I returned it and kissed her until we broke apart to watch the finale. Usopp fired his one experimental ball and the larger one was fired next. It exploded into a green Phoenix outline that soared over the island and exploded once more, changing into a red dragon before circling and exploding into a heart with words in the center that read: We love you!

The villagers cheered and everyone was talking about it's amazing performance. After dropping Robin off at the ship, she kissed me once more before I pulled away and she pulled back for a deeper kiss. "Stay."

I chuckled. "What about taking it slow?"

She shook her head and pulled me towards my room and inside before answering. "Forget slow. Go fast."

I deepened our kiss before locking the door and stripping us. Moments later we were wrapped up in passion and I was breaking her maiden head carefully as to not cause too much pain. We went slow for the first time the progressively faster until she was too tired for more while I held her in my arms and slept.

The next morning I showed her my private shower and we shared it while I helped her clean herself out. Pregnancy in this world can be very dangerous especially in a pirate ship. We hadn't talked about kids or anything like it but I as soon as it was all out, she kissed me and that led to more going in.

We were fierce in the bedroom while when we came out together Chopper looked hurt that I'd locked him out all night and while Nami was happy for us, Sanji was definitely scowling at me. He still acted the gentleman perv towards Robin but he was definitely not happy that she came to my room each night while Chopper slept with Nami once more.

When we were ready I whistled for Kame who came and took us away. We had one clear day before the marines caught up to us so we headed into the fog where I jumped ship and started wrecking the marine ships, at the same time I took their weapons and supplies before cutting the ships in half and sinking them all before returning to the Going Merry.

There I landed just as we found a new hidden island. While the others went to explore, I refilled our supplies and wondered what to do with the excess weapons, ammo and ship equipment because I took even their dinghies.

All that they had was soaked wood and planks to survive on and all of them down to the cooks and swab boys were severely injured if not dead already. After restocking the supplies, I went with Robin to explore and relax a bit on the beach.

She sun bathed and I went swimming to catch lunch while Kame scared up some fish and lobsters my way before heading off to find his own food. I made a mountain of sea food I needed to have Sanji cook so I put them away for later before settling on building a small grill for marshmallow s'mores.

Robin didn't ask but she sure enjoyed them with me. When she wiped the chocolate off my lips and sucked it off her finger it was on. I left Sanji a note to check the ring on it and tossed the extra space ring full of food onto the note before locking Robin and myself inside our room.

By the time the others came back Robin was sleeping on my chest, tired from my tongue and finger techniques as well as the multiple times I took her fully. Even now she was sleeping with me sheathed inside her. I'd once heard the technique called the pacifier and I gotta say it fits.

I woke her up by moving a bit while she moaned and when I bumped her cervix her eyes went wide as I unleashed a torrent inside her making her gasp and moan. "Rise and shine love, it's dinner time. I heard the others come back and take the food and I can smell Sanji's cooking even this far down the mountain."

She sat up carefully before rubbing her stomach and lower where she actually felt full. I chuckled as she slid off of me before spilling a bit. "Let's grab a shower and gets some real food before Luffy eats it all."

She laughed lightly and agreed before trying to walk to the shower and finding it difficult. I helped her and held her while she washed before washing her back and myself. She used her flower-flower fruit to wash my back before we dried off and I carried her up the mountain.

I told Kame to guard the ship as we left and found Luffy and the crew at an old man's house. They called him Zenny and I just nodded before wondering off while Robin and Nami talked. I went up the mountain and saw his ship before smirking and having my elves repair and finish it before warding it and spelling it carefully as not to reveal the wards.

It only had durability and a minor barrier to block spikes and cannon balls from getting through but that was enough. After it was finished, I carried it down to the beach and set it next to our ship. Chuckling, I went back up the mountain and sat down while the others ate and told the old man and the rest.

"I found a Pirate ship up the mountain that was half finished so I completed it and brought it down to the beach. It's fully stocked and repaired while ready to set sail. It's anchored and should be yours right?"

The old man looked both happy and nervous before nodding in agreement and passing out. I fed him a senzu bean that while it couldn't heal diseases, it could repair the damage done already and that's why I added the nanite pill that looked and shaped exactly like a senzu bean for the second one.

Soon enough it would cure whatever is ailing him with the knowledge of several realities and millions of years of medical advancements. The nanites would stay in him for the rest of his life and see to it that he doesn't get sick or die from a regular injury.

Only instant death could kill him now and once the nanites were finished he might even start to de-age a bit. I carried the old man to his bed while Chopper fussed over him for a while and by morning Chopper announced he'd be fine.

When the old man woke up, he decided he wanted to go out to sea and become a pirate after all. Smirking, I helped him load up his goats that he wanted with him and we all loaded up as well before parting ways with Zenny the pirate.

A Navy Captain Moore started chasing us with his fleet of nine ships but that was fine as o Nami and I quickly robbed them before I sank all but the head ship. He cursed us as I cut all his cannons in half with Zoro's help and Luffy destroyed their masts with Sanji.

We left him next to the island with his crew and those that washed up managing to survive. Our next adventure started with a couple hours chase from the marines as four ships intercepted us in pursuit. One of said ships sank their ally and I sank another two before we pulled ahead of the last one and got away.

The real adventure started on the island we landed on afterwards. I told Kame to go eat as he'd been overworked and hungry while we went to town to explore. We met an old man and what appeared to be a sort of town guard.

I wondered around a bit while Robin and the rest shopped and talked to the old man. Ship came out of some rainbow mist and following a poor giant sea snake that was eaten by Kame almost immediately. The townsfolk were in a panic as Kame dwarfed the sea snake and made it a basic snack before going under.

Chuckling, I saw the mayor's grandson start to fight Sanji while in a robot suit with electric swords. I walked over and tapped Sanji's shoulder before swinging a single sword and cutting off Borge the arms of the robot and the arms of the man inside.

I turned to Chopper who was hiding with Nami. "You have another patient doctor."

I turned and saw the ship headed to the mist before smiling and using a combination of Soru and Geppo to arrive on deck. "You all weren't going on an adventure without me were you?"

Luffy laughed and Robin smiled. As we entered the mist, I made a barrier to keep the doorway open. With that we passed through into a timeless realm. Seeing all the ships dead around us, I told Luffy. "Let's race. The one to find the most treasure wins."

He grinned and I hopped off the ship before heading to where my spells said the bulk of it was in the back. I gathered it all in my space ring before moving on to the next ship at insane speeds as I hopped around taking tons of treasure, weapons and even sea stone cuffs with keys.

I ignored the pirate in a cage and the kids while I went so far as to dive under water in the wreckage to gather more treasures. Soon enough over three fourths has been picked clean by me while I fought to gather the rest while Luffy ran around as well.

Even Robin joined in on the fun until we had all but the last bit of treasure Luffy tossed onto the Merry while laughing. He had twelve chests full while Robin had twenty and I had seventy. The Merry couldn't take the weight so I put it all away quickly while the kids made their move pretending to be ghosts.

I used Soru and Geppo to catch them all and even the pirate they had before tossing them on deck. "Oy, playing with weapons is dangerous kids."

The leader screamed. "We're dangerous."

He went to flick me and I caught the blow with one hand before smirking. "That's some move you got there kid. It's almost enough to give a massage with. Now sit tight or I'll try the same technique on you and your friends."

He sat down while looking truly afraid. The pirate next to them laughed and told me to kill them so I raised my hand and lowered the watch all the way down before flicking his forehead. His skull exploded and his body rocketed off into the wreckage.

I snorted. "Killing kids is a bad thing and assholes like that are why the terminal burned."

I put my watch back up and turned to Luffy. "I'm not in the mood to play anymore Luffy. Lets take them out of here and leave this place. I need a drink."

He nodded and turned to the kids who just witnessed me execute a pirate for trying to get me to kill them. "Shishishi. Don't mind Ace. He's a big softy when it comes to kids. He saved me a bunch of times from pirates who tried to kill us back when we were little. He doesn't like evil pirates who hurt kids but he does like messing around."

I snorted and headed inside to change the rudder. The ship turned and we headed out with full mast. By the time we were leaving through the open door I'd made, a pillar came around us until I sliced it in halve and Zoro cut it even further into cubes. Once it fell into the ocean, we passed fully through and the kids disappeared.

I heard Luffy scream but it was too late as I'd closed the portal. When we got to the island again, the single marine ship was there with a bunch of familiar looking marines. Seeing the old men catch Wetton, the mayor and former pirate captain of the pirate I executed made me smile just a bit.

When we made port, I didn't hesitate and walked over to the Marine Major before flicking his head. "I told you if you did anything I'd use your technique on you and your friends."

He smiled as I did the same to the rest of his group. He asked. "How did you know?"

I chuckled. "Your looks haven't changed that much kid and the rainbow mist is said to be timeless so when you exit it stands to reason you'd end up near your natural time. Besides, it's not my first time inside a similar place."

I turned and walked back to the crew while Nami started yelling at me for leaving them in a mess. I shrugged it off and Luffy mentioned the treasure we got from inside there. The marines heard and tried to confiscate it. I snorted and tossed the crew aboard the Merry before telling the Major. "We're pirates sorry kid, but you don't need it as you have your treasure already."

He smiled then laughed as I called Kame and to his shock, Kame came up and pulled us away from the island. Luffy and the rest waved goodbye and I gave Nami the treasures via ring transference. She calculated it all at around four hundred billion Berry.

It was about the same as the amount they'd gotten from Jaya before. Six hours into our journey a ship fell from the sky nearly on top of us. The wards protected the ship and I sent a ki blade upwards, slicing the galleon in half.

After everything finished falling, Luffy and Usopp went over to the wreckage and came backs with a map o sky island called Skypiea. Smiling, I had Kame surface and they went to find what they wanted to salvage from it.

A monkey ship came over but a simple sneeze from Kame sent them flying away while Luffy and the rest got what they wanted and sent the wreckage flying off Kame's back.

After they returned, I had Kame go back under and told him to go have fun for a while. He unhooked and went to catch a giant sea serpent meal below along with finding another giant male sea turtle he killed and brought me.

He was so proud of winning I accepted the gift and stored it away to tied Luffy over meat wise for a long while at least. Luffy was happy and I planned to sell the shell as a shield, once I adjust it, to the next giants we meet.

The sky turned dark while Nami was sitting through the junk and giant shadow figures appeared in the sky. Everyone freaked out until I laughed then they looked to me and I explained. "This proves sky island is real. They're shadows from way of people on the island. It's a light projection like shadow puppets only bigger because their higher up and the light is brighter."

Luffy called it a mystery shadow and I chuckled while telling Nami. "Use the Jays island log pose to get us to the closest island. Once there we can ask around to find out how to get to sky island."

Luffy agreed and I told Kame to go have fun and that I'd call him when we got back from sky island. I gave him some time off while tossing a giant sack of pills inside his mouth. He happily ate them sack and all and went back under.

We set sail for Jaya island and passed the nearly capsized monkey ship along the way. I chuckled and Luffy started arguing about keeping the knight armor he found. I told her to let it go and that it was a dream of all boys to be knights some day and that it was ok to let him pretend at least for a while.

She huffed and went back to her maps while Robin read the water stained books from the ship and discovered the mutiny or lack there of from the records as it detailed natives from sky island killing off the captain's crew before sending the rest adrift until death after raiding their loot.

When we reached the pirate town on Jaya, I went with Robin on a date while she used her devil fruit abilities to discover information and we asked around about sky island from the locals.

While most laughed in our face and got knocked out, those that took us seriously gave us the leads we needed. She told me about Zoro and Luffy getting beat up and I told her to head to the ship as I'd take care of it.

I went into the small bar five minutes later and came back out without a spec on me while the entire crew of Bellamy the Hyena was slaughtered and one of the fruits in my bad had changed. The bartender kept my message which was simple. "No one harms my brother or crew and comes out unscathed."

They understood how I got my moniker Bloodsword Ace now and the survivors would spread the word that the straw hat pirates weren't to be taken lightly. I passed the fat Blackbeard pirate along the way and he grabbed my arm. I sensed his ability kicking in and copied it before pulling away as he asked. "Chehahaha. You're Bloodsword Ace right? Worth two hundred million Berry's?"

I shrugged him off and grabbed my swords. "It doesn't matter if I am. If you touch me again you'll lose your life, devil fruit or not."

He frowned before grunting as my haki and sword aura pressed down on him, waiting to end his life. He sweated a bit and grabbed his pies while I continued along my way. I heard his crew member ask. "Boss, are you sure you don't want to take him together?"

He sighed. "He's at least on the level of a new world pro. We could lose more if we tried besides, the commander is chasing us anyways so we might as well catch him!"

I ignored it as that was Sabo's fight and I'd only save him if he lost. Robin walked beside me after a bit and she smiled. "I was worried."

I grinned. "Then I'll make sure you're rewarded for your worry."

I kissed her before we both used Soru to get to the ship in time. She handed over the map and the information to get to the opposite side of the island and find a certain diver.

Luffy and Zoro cheered up and I didn't tell them about Bellamy and his crew or Blackbeard. Along the way we ran into an annoying monkey who tried to attack us with sound waves but the wards deflected them back at his own ship, wrecking it horribly until it sank.

We left them there while they swam to the island and went on our Merry way. When we arrived at Montblanc Cricket's house, I hopped off the ship and told Luffy and the rest I'd go catch some appetizers before we had a hardy turtle meal. I'd already transferred the giant turtle to Sanji's ring so he could prepare some before hand while I was out.

After a good long hunt and catching several south birds as well as some wild boar, I came back with them all in cages and passed them to Sanji while they were arguing with the two monkey fellows.

When Cricket saw the south bird he stopped Sanji from harming it and told us that if we were serious about going to Jaya then we'd need it. I put it on the ship while Sanji brought out the giant dead turtle, nearly covering most of the forest in the process while he carved it up and stored it away.

I read his mind and helped do the same to speed it along with Soru. He realized he could do the same and our work was done a half our later. The shell was fully empty and the uncookable organs were feeding the sea creatures.

I stored the shell and decided instead of a shield, I'd make it into a suit of armor for one specific giant. Sanji got to cooking and we had a blast until Cricket told us of the story.

Smiling, I told Cricket and the rest. "That's it! The rest of Jaya must've been hit by a massive knock up stream and landed in the clouds of a sky island passing by overhead. The magnetic pull would keep the sky island circling the original island as it's opposite like two ends of a magnet!"

I looked at their stunned faces before grabbing the maps of sky island and Jaya before folding them to Nami's ire, forming a skull shaped island as one picture. Crickets cigarette fell out of his mouth and tears formed in his eyes as he laughed happily.

The others smiled and we partied harder until the monkey crew agreed to help us fit wings on Merry. I helped out and modified them som to be retractable to their surprise. When it worked, runes began expanding and covering them.

We set sail for the location Cricket discribed as no other pirates came since Bellamy was long dead and Blackbeard gave up on us. It was all rather exciting as the knock up stream hit us. We were rocketed into the air and once we were at the right altitude, Nami had us expand the wings and sail. We flew right up into the clouds like a jet and soon enough we surfaced on top of the clouds like a sea.
