Medieval Life

'It seems the natives of this world are very weak, I didn't even do much' Wrath thought.

Wrath switched with Greed and the ransacking of the corpses began, If one were to look at the system currently, soul attributes would display.

Soul Attributes (sealed):

50th lock of heavens seal: durability: 99%

Wrath: 0.2%/14.3% = innate ability: weak blood control, + 30 strength

Pride: 0%/14.3% = innate ability: weak void travel, + 30 intelligence

Greed: 0.2%/14.3% = innate ability: small eternal treasury, + 30 Agility

Envy: 0%/14.3% = innate ability: weak elemental resistance, + 30 constitution

Lust: 0%/14.3% = innate ability: weak illusion creation, + 30 charm

Laziness: 0%/14.3% = innate ability: weak time control + 4 meters

Gluttony: 0.6%/14.3% = innate ability: weak energy manipulation + 40,000 energy capacity

Crimson: 1%/100.1% = innate ability: weak eternal reincarnation + innate skill:???

Breaching past the 50th lock of heavens seal would be very easy, as even these few amount of sins could already put a small dent on the lock, but the 49th seal would be increasingly harder and after each destroyed lock and the amount of sins that need to be committed would increase drastically to break the next one, fortunately the reward would be higher to.

After a thorough body search, Greed found some other accessories including a small knife, a family crest made of iron and gold, a totally inconspicuous sword covered in blood, a pouch of coins and dried jerky used as emergency rations. After looting the two bodies, Greed being the selfish person he was decided not to switch with anyone.

Greed copied Lust and continued to follow their previous tracks.

10 minutes later...

The end of the forest was in sight and as he exited, the neighing sound of a horse resounded in the distance. A hundred meters away a black stallion was tied to a tree. Figuring that its previous owners were now rotting into the ground, Greed untied the stallion before jumping on its back.

The only thing was, Greed had never ridden a horse before. The second the horse started moving was the second he fell of, not wanting to lose the horse that was trying to make a desperate escape Greed made a fast dash towards it, at unexpected speeds.

The horse had wide eyes, not expecting a mere human to be able to move so fast, alarmed it increased its speed but the human was still gaining on it slowly, Greed couldn't do this for much longer though moving at 60mph with his current power such an action used a lot of energy.

Eventually, with a lasting effort Greed jumped onto the horses saddle, learning from his previous mistakes he grabbed the reigns like his life depended on it, the defeated horse had a dejected look on its face, its only chance of freedom ruined.

'This human bastard, you can run faster than me and still have the audacity to ride me' The stallion grumbled.

The journey was a lot faster now but Greed still had no idea where to go. Luckily, he found a path formed from passing carriages, carts, horses and other modes of transport making it the road very coarse. The galloping horse continued to sprint forward with amazing stamina.

20 minutes later...

Greed currently stood just outside of a village, human life was finally beginning to be seen as he walked down the street, his good looks and cleanliness attracting a lot of attention.

The village was bustling with busy workers, the sins noticed that civilization was very underdeveloped compared to a lot of other high end galaxy's and planets.

Whether is was the small feeble houses crafted from hay, thatch, mud and wood, the food they ate mostly involving badly grown vegetables, clothing they wore made out of cheap and itchy cloth covering their dirty odourful bodies. Gluttony ended up shirking back in fear of the sight.

The only place of higher quality than the rest was the regular sized house made of stone, up high on a hill.

After binding his horse to the empty stables, out of curiosity Greed entered the tavern, as soon as he did multiple eyes landed on him, his sheer handsomeness alone quickly made him the subject of attention. Greed walked to the bar, the bartender was a woman currently completely dazed by his appearance after all it wasn't everyday you met a man like Crimson, she temporality forgot what to say.

After a few seconds she said panickily "w-w-what do you want, ale or wine"

*Greed switches with lust*

"I'll take ale" Lust replied with a cheeky smile in a Charismatic voice, making the bartender blush lightly then proceeding to pour him a pint of ale.

"T-that's going to be 1 pence"

Lust proceeded to hand her 1 shilling instead and then gave her a wink, making her blush heavily this time, he then walked out the door with the pint in hand.

"ahahaha, Alina found love at first sight it seems" a middle aged man with a long beard shouted, laughter filled the room, while the bartender pouted.

(author's note: just for future reference:

1 pound (L) = 20 shillings (s)

1 crown = 5 shillings

1 shilling = 12 pence (d)

1 penny = 4 farthings

1 mark = 13s 4d )

For the short time lust was in there, he had heard many conversations happening, the main focus being on how the world turned completely dark for a short amount of time, most thought it was a message from god others had some weird opinions. Little did they know the one who caused it was in the room with them a second ago.

The sins knew nearly every language possible after experiencing countless sins first hand, they picked up a lot of languages along the way, and even languages they didn't know were easy to pick up on, its also why they weren't brought into this world without a clue for what was going on, there were similar worlds to this one in the vast amounts of galaxy's that existed.

After drinking the ale which wasn't very good at all, Lust recognised the sun was falling fast and night was beginning to arrive fast, he thought Laziness who never left his seat on the throne could benefit from this.

*Lust switches with Laziness*

The previous confident aura emanating from Crimson disappeared as Laziness took control, walking slowly like a drunken man who spend his whole night in the tavern, with half opened eyes anyone close to him could hear him mumbling to himself quietly.

"I hate this, why couldn't they just let me sleep on my throne."

Meanwhile, round the corner of an alleyway a masked robber hid watching his next victim closely which just so happened to be Laziness, preparing to pounce out at him.

'I need to rent a room and go to sleep, I've done to much exercise today' thought Laziness

It was at this moment the masked man dashed out of hiding, launching a sneak attack from behind, intending to knock him out then mug him. But as soon as he got within a meter of his target, Laziness did a slow slide to the left barely avoiding a hit to the head.

With his first attack failing the robber started doing frenzied attacks, but each time it was as if the target knew his punch trajectory and barely avoided each strike, it was at this point the mugger noticed.....HE HAD HIS EYES CLOSED.

Previously in the dark he wasn't able to notice, but now that he focused it was clear, this drunkard had his eyes closed, filled with humiliation and rage his attacks became even more wild, but it didn't last for long. With a simple swing of his arm Laziness struck him in the face sending him flying a couple meters before falling to the ground.

Once he had regained his bearings, the robber looked around prepared for another attempt at his life, but was once again dumbfounded when he saw his opponent walking away like he hadn't slept for 3 weeks. With that the robber gave up his endeavours and went back into the alley to find easier prey.

Laziness got himself a room inside a hotel, the room was rather poor quality, made out of wood, a single chair and a table were placed in the corner and the bed in the other corner. A very simplistic design, Laziness gazed at the bed with endless longing before jumping onto it, all to be met with a prickly straw mattress.

The medieval times were filled with desperate peasants who eventually turned to criminality because they were struggling to get by in harsh times, fighting for survival on a daily basis, meanwhile the nobles and knights lived the high lavish life giving no regard for those bellow them.

*The table of sins*

"we need to eradicate this town" screamed Wrath incessantly

While Laziness slept in the real world, a heated debate occurred round the table. Whether to destroy the town or use it in another way, most of them wanted the town to be destroyed including: Wrath, Gluttony, Envy and Greed.

The debate continued throughout the night each side being incessantly stubborn, eventually team destroy the village won on the condition that all beautiful woman would be spared and pride got priority control after the destruction.

Tomorrow this humble village was about to be raised to the ground.
